I own a 2004 Kia Sedona. And, I love it. So, I sold my friend on the idea of getting a Kia when she became ready to purchase a new vehicle. My vehicle was going into the Service Department to have some w friend on the idea of getting a Kia when she became ready to purchase a new vehicle. My vehicle was going into the Service Department to have some work done on it so she came in with me. We had the WORST EXPERIENCE ever!! My friend and I spent 5 hours there looking for a pre-owned vehicle that she could afford. You know, one that would have the monthly payments in the range she was looking for. After 5 hours, the salesperson found one that they could get her into. So, she started the paperwork process. When it was time for her to sign the last piece of paperwork...it was a "Lease Agreement". It was her understanding (and mine) that she was trading her vehicle in on the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle. So, she asked for her keys back and said she was leaving. She was not going to "lease" anything!! The person that was helping with the deal on the finance side of it...walked around the showroom floor and very loudly kept saying he didn't know what her problem was...she signed the paperwork...all she had to do was sign the contract and the vehicle would be hers!!! The saleperson went over to her and asked what had happened...what did he say to you? What can I do to make it right? What can I do to get you into a vehicle today? Tell me what you want! I'll do whatever I can to help you. She said you can give me my keys back so I can go home. He went on to tell her that he had explained to her that they weren't able to get her approved for a vehicle in her price range. But, they could "lease" her one...in her price range!! I jumped in and said...no, I was there. You never told her it was a "lease". As a matter of fact, she told you (more than once) that she did not want to "lease". She wanted to trade her car in on the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle. That other man was still walking around the showroom and down the hall towards the Service Department saying very loundly....I don't know what her problem is...all she has to do is sign the contract and the vehicle is hers!!! I said, would you please just give her the keys to her car so we can go home!! We've been here for over 5 hours now!! They finally gave her keys back and let us go home. They were so unprofessional!! I would NEVER buy a vehicle from there. You can pay attention to this warning as to how you may be treated...or not! It's up to you! Don't say I didn't warn you!! More

This comment was posted before my sale was completed after that it went all downhill I bought a used car as soon as I drove it about 15 minutes already home I had 2 l posted before my sale was completed after that it went all downhill I bought a used car as soon as I drove it about 15 minutes already home I had 2 lights go on called the sales guy and told him what was going on was told to bring it back so the next morning as I was heading there the lights were off I called Joe and notify him was told to hold off then till the financing cleared so I decided to take to get a full inspection and had a long list of things going on was missing vital parts (i.e. multiple covers that go underneath the car one was so the radiator wouldn’t get damaged again since the radiator was no good and needed a few things replaced (i.e.)battery ,the battery cables,2 motor mounts, having issues with the tire pressure lights going off and the tires possibly needed to be replaced so I took the info and the car back to the dealership and both the sales guy and his manger said they would take care of it so I left the car there and they had the car for a day and a half when I went back the sales guy said my list was done , so I asked for the list I gave them and a list or documentation of what they did do neither one was provided the mechanic showed what he was told to do , which was to fix the radiator, clean the battery cables replace the motor mounts and an oil change , which no oil change was done , the tire light is still going on and off and making weird noises that I point out to the mechanic and is taking a while to turn over when I start it . When I turned around to talk to the sales guy he was gone I asked where he was and no one knew so the mechanic walked away so I went in to discuss this with the manger he said he didn’t have the list I gave him and didn’t remember what needed to be done but the battery didn’t test bad, and it was a used car and he wasn’t going to put it back together . As I was talking to him another guy sitting next to him started yelling at me . I told the manger I wasn’t asking him to but they did say they were going to take care of it and it wasn’t I don’t want to buy a car that’s possibly goin break down as soon as I drive down the street again . My main concern was the covers since I have now been told by 2 different car shops not to drive all I takes is a rock to destroy the radiator etc. again. Which they just replaced because of this. There super nice till your out the door when said and done I was upset and angry there totally dishonest snakes they were conceding ,sarcastic , the other guy was really disrespectful and rude I didn’t even know or wasn’t even talking to this guy and he was yelling at me. Would never recommend this place at all especially to purchase a used car. More
I am writing to express my complete disgust at the way I was treated at Camelback Hyundai recently. On october 29, 2012, I went to the dealership hoping to find a reliable used car. I am 19 and have no credit history, and have been in my current position for 2 months. I did have a 2002 Toyota Tundra and a small amount of cash for a down payment. Allen put together a deal on a 2013 Elantra coupe. I was concerned about the likelihood of financing a relatively expensive car for my situation, but Allen assured me the deal would go through. Throughout the week, Allen kept calling and texting, telling me that he was having problems getting the loan approved but 'the next bank' would approve it. He also suggested that I falsify my pay stub to show 8 months of work history instead of 2; I refused. Finally, on 11/5, Allen called to tell me that he could not get the deal approved, and that I should bring the car back. When I arrived at the dealership, my Toyota was nowhere to be seen. Allen could not find it. He finally came back and said that the truck had already been sent to the auction but he could have it back by 6 am on 11/6. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and Allen said he didn't know who that was. I asked for the manager's name, and Allen said he wasn't allowed to give that out. Through all of this, Allen has never offered one word of apology or concern. He finally agreed to give me a half tank of gas for the trouble and aggravation I've been through, although after all his lies so far I don't expect it. I do expect an apology from Allen and Camelback Hyundai and some assurance that steps are taken to assure that this level of unprofessional and unethical behavior does not happen to another customer. Be assured that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, RipOffReport, and every customer review site I can think of to warn other people away from Camelback Hyundai. I have already read several online review and see that my experience is very common. More
