I found a nice looking older truck and purchased the vehicle that day from their used vehicle inventory. Everyone was helpful and it was pretty much a "pressure-free" process (there is always some back and forth decision making evaluations that are based on trust, reputation, and sometimes "hope", when purchasing things used with an "as is" policy). It turned out that "hope" was not on my side as some mechanical issues surfaced as I started to log some miles on the vehicle. I called Campbell Ford and made arrangements to have the truck brought in to their service dept and they were thorough and quick to diagnose the problem. I was a bit displeased and expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation. A day later, Doug Campbell (owner) contacted me and informed me of the options to make it right, even though it was an "as is" deal. I know whether buying new, used, having things repaired, and even through my own employment as a craftsman that things sometimes don't work out even with the best intentions. There is always going to be "unknowns" when buying a new or used vehicle, but at Campbell Ford, customer satisfaction will never be part of that equation. Even though there was a great selection of trucks on the sales lot, Bill and John went above and beyond to locate and acquire the exact truck to meet our needs. I went to Campbell Ford in Niles, MI when I was looking for a new car. It was the best decision I have ever made. My salesman was Gary Lee and he made the entire process simple and comforting. I have never bought a new car before and he took the time to answer all questions I had. Everyone there showed a lot of patience in helping me make the right decision for my situation. I am leasing the vehicle for 3 years and I know that when the lease is up, I am definitely dealing with Campbell Ford for my next vehicle and every vehicle I get from here on out. My only complaint is that Gary may retire before my lease is up so I might have to find a new salesperson. As much as I will miss him, I know anyone there will be just as helpful. Every time I walk in the door, I am greeted and have multiple people ask if I need help with anything. They go out of their way to make you feel important. I am a Campbell Ford fan for life!
