I went into the car buying process not really knowing what to expect, other than that I had to be on my guard simply due to the fairly negative reputation that car salesmen have when it comes to trying t what to expect, other than that I had to be on my guard simply due to the fairly negative reputation that car salesmen have when it comes to trying to make a sale. This was my first ever car buying experience and I have to admit that Rockingham Honda essentially eliminated all of my negative preconceptions about the car buying process. The atmosphere of the dealership is open and friendly, making it easier to actually carry on a conversation with a salesman rather than feeling like there were a bunch of people breathing down your neck, pushing you to buy the first car you lay your eyes on. Garrett was a pleasure to work with during the process. He brought a wealth of information and ideas to the table in order to find the car that best suited my needs. He was more concerned with making sure that I ended up satisfied with a car that I wanted rather than the dealership doing their best to try to up-sell and encourage me to get something that was impractical or unnecessary. In fact, I went in looking to buy a hybrid, but through my conversation with Garrett I came to the conclusion that it would not really make much financial sense to buy one based on the amount and type of driving I do, thereby saving my several thousand dollars off the cost of the car. When it came to the price negotiations, Garrett and Rockingham Honda matched literally every single competitive offer from other dealerships that I threw at them, showing that they are more focused on keeping someone as a potential long term customer as opposed to draining that buyer for every cent they have (I even got approved at the lowest financing interest rate they offered despite my relatively short credit history). He was also patient enough to deal with my ever changing whims when it came to what color car I wanted. Overall it was an immensely positive experience at Rockingham Honda and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a quality car from quality people. If I am still in the area the next time I need to buy a car, I will surely be going back to them.. More

From Terry Wong, our first contact at Rockingham, then over to Dave (Patch) Adams, our sales consultant, to Zach Mangold and Chuck Wolf, management. Everyone was extremely accommodating of our unusual deal (trade 2 cars for one new one, then buy another) and offered fair value for our trades, and a fair price on the new cars. The process was stress free and easy. Zach and Dave worked together to find the color car I wanted (2013 Accord EX-L, Black on beige) at another dealer, and had it in quickly. Dave Adams spent plenty of time with us, going over all the features of the cars, and even offered a "2nd Delivery" session to answer any questions about the extensive features of the audio/navigation systems on the cars after we had used them for a while. I have contacted Dave several times with questions about the navigation systems, and he has been nothing but helpful and informative. I would recommend anyone to Rockingham Honda for their next car purchase. More

Price negotiation was very reasonable. Financing, and car insurance was easy to set up, even on a weekend. Delivery was quickly available and Dave went over all the critical features, patiently reviewing all that I needed to know. I met the service department person and the system for bringing in my car for service. It will be very easy to get service without an appointment and they have a comfortable waiting room. The dealership is very conveniently located for where I live. Everyone was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. This is the best car dealership in our area and our new "home" for buying cars in the future. More
