Enjoyed my ordering and purchase experience of a new 2023 Escalade through Robert Pusatere at Capital Cadillac of Atlanta. I usually purchase 2 cars a year and in the past 2+ years of COVID the dealerships Escalade through Robert Pusatere at Capital Cadillac of Atlanta. I usually purchase 2 cars a year and in the past 2+ years of COVID the dealerships have generally, in my experience, treated customers as disposable, easily replaced and while Capital Cadillac didn't do that in the purchase experience, they absolutely did when it came to my first service appointment... In a day and age that dealers are facing an uncertain future when it comes to sales and service of the brands products they are affiliated with, I have been left shocked and dismayed by my experience at Capital Cadillac - the same dealership I purchased a 2023 Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum from late last year. I most certainly will never return to Capital Cadillac for ANY purchase nor any kind of service/maintenance. 1.) I paid a substantial markup ABOVE sticker price which enriched Capital Cadillac and yet the dealership said they would charge me $850 to install the monochromatic emblems front and back on the Escalade as well as a lighted rear cargo cover. I’m left speechless honestly. 2.) When the Escalade was delivered to me I noticed there was damage to the driver side piece of the console trim. Capital Cadillac’s Service Department, I was told by my sales rep Robert Pusatere, would order this part and I let him know at that time that I wouldn’t make a trip to Capital Cadillac until the first service was due and, as the sales rep knew and saw at my home, I own multiple vehicles that I drive so none of them need service as often as someone with solely one vehicle to drive - yet Mr Pusatere blamed me when I brought the missing in action replacement console trim and said I waited too long to bring the Escalade in to have it installed. So, I left the dealership without the replacement console piece installed and NO ONE from Capital Cadillac not the sales rep I spoke to about this, not the service department - NO ONE has contacted me as to this matter in the weeks since I was at the dealership for service. Unacceptable. 3.) The Escalade was returned to me just as dirty as when I dropped it off - not even the dashboard was wiped down - and yet Capital Cadillac is supposed to be a LUXURY car dealership? Certainly wasn’t a luxury experience for me. I’ve experienced better, more personal and helpful service when taking my vehicles to a local mechanic for service and maintenance. Unacceptable. 4.) In addition to the lackluster condition the Escalade was returned to me in the top of a mini trash can that fits snugly in drink holders that I bought for around $20 (so clearly not a large amount of money) which is used for refuse to be placed in to keep the car interior more neat and clean was missing upon return of the vehicle to me. I guess someone at the dealership knocked the top off, it ended up somewhere in the dealership, likely on the floor, and when found was likely tossed in the trash. Not the biggest deal, but still, this shows how careless Capital Cadillac is with their customers vehicles while in their care. 5.) To top off this terrible experience, Capital Cadillac doesn’t offer loaner cars… when I spent well over 100k on a new vehicle purchase. You can wait in their cramped waiting area - that's the luxury experience you can expect at this dealership. More
