Smooth as Silk, More than Fair Deal! I saw my car on the internet and wanted to check it out. I went on a Sunday hoping to avoid talking to anyone, but the car I wanted was in the showroo I saw my car on the internet and wanted to check it out. I went on a Sunday hoping to avoid talking to anyone, but the car I wanted was in the showroom. So I went the following Monday or Tuesday. I had very low hopes of actually getting this car because, a) I was afraid I wouldn't get enough in trade for my car, and b) I had heard less than ideal tales of people I know trying to buy here but not getting the deal they needed. In fact, I had tried to buy a car from here when I ended up buying what I had elsewhere. I walked in and was looking at the prettiest Fusion I think I had ever seen, which made me think I was sunk right there. Then I was greeted by Tim Lee. I explained to him what I was looking for and how this car seemed to fill the bill, and he went over it with me, showing all the features, etc. Of course, I was able to pull the "I need to bring my wife to see this" defense, which didn't seem to phase him a bit. When I did actually bring her a few hours later, he had the car pulled out of the showroom and ready for a test drive. Surprisingly, my wife also thought is was a beautiful car, especially after the test drive, and she was totally on board. So we decided to talk a little turkey. Now, I am a fanatic about having hard credit checks run on me, and I insisted that no hard check be done until we had some sort of deal. I can tell you the last dealership I dealt with failed to honor my request, and things got ugly quick since I was notified by text about it almost immediately. I had no such problem here at Inskeep. Tim promised one wouldn't be run until I was ready, and he was good to his word. But now came the moment when management looked at my car. I had done some homework and had a pretty good idea what my car was worth, and I feared the end of my hopes was at hand. Tim brought back a deal which I was immediately happy with, and I knew that car was just a finagle here and a tug there away, and that's what happened. The last hitch was when Ali Woerner found that I had a lock on my credit reports, and I didn't have the passwords with me. This delayed the delivery of my car until the next day, and everyone was most understanding. Ali was very pleasurable to work with and have the financing explained. Finally Tim came out one last time to go ever the feature of my car with me (which there were many,) and then I was on my way home!! I suppose since I'm one who enjoys rolling up my sleeves and getting into it with car sales personnel, I should be disappointed. But this entire experience was so pleasant and went so well. You can believe I'll recommend Inskeep to anyone I hear of looking for their next vehicle. Thank you Tim And Ali!! More

Inskeep buying experience We were looking for a truck that is large enough to pull a 16,000 lb 5th wheel RV. Needless to say, there are a ton of opinions and misconceptions fl We were looking for a truck that is large enough to pull a 16,000 lb 5th wheel RV. Needless to say, there are a ton of opinions and misconceptions floating around. I pre-armed myself with what I needed to be able to pull the RV. So this review is basically about the Inskeep dealership buying experience. Alan King, our salesman, was easy to work with. As with all vehicle purchases, you have to negotiate. I don't think we got the best deal in town and I don't think we got the worse deal in town. We found the middle road. We had started out looking at a new 2020 F350 and eventually steered our way to a 2019 F350. Alan was very gracious to let me take both out for a drive on two different occasions. The steering on the 2019 was sloppy for some reason. It didn't have that tight feeling that the 2020 had. Once we decided to purchase the 2019, I had mentioned it to Alan along with a bulletin about the steering stabilizer that just had the warranty period extended. After a brief discussion, Alan sent the 2019 over to service where they replace the steering stabilizer. Wow! That made a huge difference. The sloppiness was gone and the front end felt tight, like the 2020. I'm very happy that Alan worked with us before we took delivery. We had a tonneau cover, all season mats, mud flaps and spray-in bed liner installed before taking delivery. Inskeep was very quick to complete the work. In today's world with the COVID-19, that is saying a lot. With a full tank of diesel fuel, we took delivery. Inskeep also offered 24 months of free oil changes. The 2019 F350 has original warranty and the vehicle is Ford Certified. I can't imagine a better deal. We also did our financing through Inskeep. They quoted a pretty good rate when we agreed to purchase the 2019. When we were ready to sign the paperwork, the finance person, Ali, found a lower rate. That made the deal even more attractive. Thanks Ali. We felt that Inskeep gave us a fair deal and treated us with the utmost respect. Based on my buying experience, I feel comfortable returning for service needs. The dealership seemed to work as a team between service and sales. I would like to add one final comment. On the second test drive, with Alan's permission, I took the 2019 truck to our camper to see how it would line up. Upon returning, I realized that I had driven through mud puddles at the campground. There was mud slung up along the side of the truck. (It is the reason we decided to add mud flaps.) I don't know the person's name at Inskeep, but he wasn't very happy about the dirty truck I had returned. He cleaned it up very nicely. I just want him to know that it was very much appreciated and to thank him for his great service. Again, teamwork at all levels. More
