I had a genuinely great experience at CarMax Austin North, and I especially want to call out Christopher Segrets, who went above and beyond to make sure everything came together. There were a few extra hoops to jump through on my end related to the title of my trade in, and Christopher handled the entire situation with patience, professionalism, and a great attitude. He stayed nearly two hours past his shift while everything was finalized, walked me out, handed me the keys, and even took a photo of me with my new car, which was a nice touch after a long day. He was kind, approachable, and incredibly easy to work with. He answered all of my questions clearly, communicated well throughout the process, and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. Most importantly, he genuinely cared about helping me get the car I was hoping for and seemed excited to see it happen. The financing process was straightforward and smooth, and I ended up with a solid interest rate, which of course depends on individual financial situations. The team that handled my trade-in was also quick, friendly, and fair. I felt really good about the value I received. My only piece of feedback is around key fobs. The car came with a single key, and while there was a photo of one key online, it wasn’t clearly stated anywhere in the listing that the vehicle only included one key. Since replacement key fobs can be expensive, it would be helpful for that to be made more explicit in the description so buyers can plan accordingly. It wouldn't have swayed me from the sale, but it is a complication. That said, this was my first time buying through CarMax. I’ve always gone through traditional dealerships before, and I honestly couldn’t believe how easy and stress-free the process was. A couple weeks later, I’m still excited every time I get into my new car. Huge thanks to "Segrets" and the entire CarMax Austin North team that helped with the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others, and I’ll absolutely come back if I’m ever in the market for another vehicle. More

Dealing with this location was frustrating, we selected a Tahoe to be transported from this store to a store closer to where we live, only to find out there was never any movement from this store on getting Tahoe to be transported from this store to a store closer to where we live, only to find out there was never any movement from this store on getting the vehicle transported. We chose to bite the bullet and drive to this location to purchase our family a car. Within an hour after we bought the car, we encountered engine issues. Which was frustrating to learn that there was never a 125 point inspection done because this vehicle had the lifters going out. During the purchasing process the sales manager and the sales associate were very kind. However, I’m disappointed with Carmax’s processes for their logistics and for their inspection of vehicles they’re selling. More
