I knew the vehicle and specs I wanted and found the right one in another state. I had the vehicle shipped to my local Carmax and they had it cleaned and ready for me to test drive. I found an issue with the vehicle at time of purchase, and they replaced and repaired the part quickly, provided a loaner vehicle, and communicated updates. At pick up they put a bow on it and took a family photo with the new car. My kids were thrilled, and mom has an awesome new Lincoln Aviator! Everyone we worked with was easy to talk to, no pressure or stress like a dealership often feels. Our sales rep Asad was helpful in making sure all our needs were met, reviewing vehicle history, and gave options for service and warranty. We got a good price on our trade right away. To anyone seeking a used vehicle, I highly recommend researching, test driving lots of options, and then searching Carmax! More

Nothing but a ring around Found a car I liked, had it transferred and fell in love. Had everything done including financing and they needed my divorce decree to prove the car w Found a car I liked, had it transferred and fell in love. Had everything done including financing and they needed my divorce decree to prove the car was mine in the divorce. Got the papers they needed for that but it still wasn't good enough. They questioned the authenticity of my ex husbands signature. I was asked whether the divorce decree was from the lawyer or a copy. It was in fact a copy from the cifruit clerk where you get copies of legal documents. Needless to say I left without buying a car and showed my greatest support to the finance department with two fingers in the air. I literally bent over backwards trying to get this car. I took off of work to get the requested paperwork they needed, came after work to get things done and wasted many hours of my time to leave empty handed. I think the whole experience was a blessing in disguise because we bought a better car basically for the same price from a dealership that actually cares. I will NEVER do business with Carmax ever again and I will tell all my friends to do the same. The issues they had with my title and divorce decree the other dealership didn't. I think they were purposely sabotaging me. The associate we had was very kind and understanding. He was even shocked they denied me the car. More
