Buying a car from CarMax was very straight forward. All costs were upfront with no add on surprises. I'm giving 4 stars because I had taken the vehicle out twice for a test drive. I brought this to the dealer's attention. They made note of this issue and on my third trip to Salem to buy the vehicle, the dealer still had not fixed the problem. The vehicle's monitor was showing the spare tire at 9 psi. More

This was hands down the best car buying experience I have had in over 30 years. Filled out most of the paperwork online, so I just signed the paperwork on pick up. Absolute lack of communication even from the higher up management level. I would t recommend it. The manager got very aggressive and acted like I was the issue. I really appreciated this dealership, although the process was slow, I did appreciate the 24 hour test drive and that I knew I had financing pre-approved before I went in.
