Shipping cost often is a deal breaker. $1500 to ship a car from the west coast is too big of a risk considering how often cars delivered are in a terrible mechanical and physical shape. That forced me to avoid cars from far away and thats not good. Also shipping time is terrible. 2 weeks on average. Also you can only ship 1 car at the time. So if they end up bringing you a rusty pile of junk that only looks good on the outside, you will be stuck waiting 2 more weeks for another attempt. I wish they would allow you to ship as many cars as you like at once. You are paying for shipping anyway so why they put these limits is beyond my logic. As a result of that, i had to wait months and spent nearly 2K to just look through cars until i finally got one. More

This is the third vehicle I've purchased at CarMax and I keep coming back because the experience is fantastic. I'm not stuck at a dealership all day while the sales person "checks with their manager" or the keep coming back because the experience is fantastic. The vehicles are quality pre-owned options and I can do nearly everything online. I just test drive, confirm my trade-in value and in a few hours I'm out the door with my new ride. This is the only way to buy a car for me! More
