I purchased a 2018 Toyota Highlander XLE V6 8 days ago. I took it to a mechanic a week later after purchasing for an inspection. They found that the timing cover was leaking some oil. They are going to inspect to see what they find. CarMax said they would pause the 10 day return count until after they have inspected the vehicle. Hopefully they will repair under the 30 day limited warranty if they agree that there is a issue that need to be fixed. More

Few problems. Not the dealers location or the staff but the system in general. Shipping cost often is a deal breaker. $1500 to ship a car from the west coast is Not the dealers location or the staff but the system in general. Shipping cost often is a deal breaker. $1500 to ship a car from the west coast is too big of a risk considering how often cars delivered are in a terrible mechanical and physical shape. That forced me to avoid cars from far away and thats not good. Also shipping time is terrible. 2 weeks on average. Also you can only ship 1 car at the time. So if they end up bringing you a rusty pile of junk that only looks good on the outside, you will be stuck waiting 2 more weeks for another attempt. I wish they would allow you to ship as many cars as you like at once. You are paying for shipping anyway so why they put these limits is beyond my logic. As a result of that, i had to wait months and spent nearly 2K to just look through cars until i finally got one. More
