When I raised these concerns within a week of purchasing the vehicle, I was treated as though I was being a bother. Unfortunately, my experience with the service center has been just as disappointing. The only person I can give kudos to is Stephanie Carter in the Operations Department. She listened to my concerns and took care of me when everyone else treated me as if I had asked for the car for free instead of paying for it. I really liked how easy it was to find a car online & order it. It was very simple and fast. However I did not enjoy working with Joe. He got really upset when I said I didn’t want the insurance/warranty order it. It was very simple and fast. However I did not enjoy working with Joe. He got really upset when I said I didn’t want the insurance/warranty deal that cost a few thousand dollars. He told me “I wouldn’t even get this car if you can’t afford it.” And the rest of the interactions were very awkward and uncomfortable after that. Im sure he makes commission on that, but his demeanor took a 180 and he was straight up rude. He was being so rude that another employee asked if everything was okay. Other than Joe, I did like Car Max. More
