Overall the process was very easy. I had the car transferred in from another CarMax area and it was waiting when I arrived for my schedule test drive time. I literally had everything completed and out the door with my new car in under 2 hours!! When signing the papers I was told it could take up to month to get paperwork so I can transfer my tag over. Apparently when they did the car inspection- nobody checked the tire pressure as I had to stop and add air to 3 tires before leaving town. The car did have full tank of gas so I was happy. More

This is not the first car I have bought from Carmax. Both times were low pressure, no one hounding you while walking around the lot. This was the same at the Wichita location. We talked for a few minutes, then he tooked me back to the service bays, he really pushed your extended warranty. that i didn't like,at all, after sitting down at his desk to finalize my purchase, he was very pleasant until, again he kept pushing the extended warranty, When I told him I wasn't interested, I noticed a change in his attitude, I'm thinking your salespeople make extra money if they can get you to buy the warranty, That really xxxxxx me off , That changed my whole experience buying a car from Carmax!!
