The office staff and Joe our salesman were amazing. I wish I could say the same about their service shop. When I test drove my car once you hit about 30mph there was a loud whistle. When we went back a second time we told our salesman there is a known problem with the ski rack can we please remove it and test drive it again. It took them A WEEK in the service shop to say it was fixed. When we went back the ski rack was still on and we took Joe on a test drive for the whistle to still be there..... we took it in our hands to remove it ourselves as the service shop couldnt do one simple task that we did all the research on. We removed it and fixed the whistle. Joe was beyond apologetic for their incompetence which it wasn't his fault and he was amazing. I feel bad for all the salesmen that have to deal with the service shop and how many sales they will lose because they REFUSE to do their job even when the fix is explicitly wrote down. If it wasn't for Joe I would have taken my business elsewhere. I hope Joe sees this and understands he was amazing with great communication. That service shop needs a full revamp, training or QC. If you habe a car there that has to get service done I wish you good luck and know it wont be fixed correctly. More

Excellent at what the dealership at Carmax did. There was no high pressure sales at I never felt anxiety or stress that I had to buy a vehicle. The only info I was hoping for because of all this newer technology in these newer vehicles as I am not use to the touch screen and all the other "bells and whistles". I was really hoping that someone at Carmax could have gone over more of the new technology as I am use to the older vehicles that have a key to start the ignition and and not so much of this newer technology. Maybe if Carmax could hold open classrooms to help out older individuals as in myself understand more of what the vehicle can do for me and how I can adjust settings. I have been watching U Tube a lot and I hope that will help out but it is plenty of retention to try to remember how to use set up to program my vehicle so it is a more friendly user vehicle More

Manager was very rude. Salesman was kind and polite. The tires definitely needed replaced. They measured between 2-3/32 with uneven wear. They said if they are 3/32 the Salesman was kind and polite. So disappointed. Carmax stands by the principle of multipoint inspections including safety. I think they failed with this inspection. I could see the salesperson was embarrassed and apologized how I was treated by the manager. I went ahead and bought the car because this was the car I was looking for. Will not buy from CarMax again. More
