Service department employees are friendly and they said my appointment would take an hour and I was done like they said. Excellent customer service from both the Sales Department and Service Department. The only concern I have is upon registering with Hyundai Owners. I discovered two open recalls for the Hyundai we purchased. and Service Department. The only concern I have is upon registering with Hyundai Owners. I discovered two open recalls for the Hyundai we purchased. We were told at CarMax there were none. I will be having the recalls taken care of at a Hyundai dealer (as directed). Very pleased with the vehicle and plan on buying another in the future at CarMax More

It was probably the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. It was nice at closing not having surprise add ons like paint protection, GPS or special air in the tires that other dealers tack on adding tho had. Finding a car online was easy. The dealership employees were very welcoming. Everyone made sure we were being helped. A 3 star rating is due to the lack of communication between the departments and the express check out wasn't express at all. Because the vehicle had to be delivered from out of state, I wanted to test drive it. This appeared to be a surprise to the person in express check out. Having received a call the night before, I was given the option to receive paperwork to sign. When showing up to the dealership I was pressured into signing electronically. However, the screen to read, initial, and sign had a blank stripe and I was unable to read the contract and the contract had to be done on paper. So the contract was signed the original way I had requested I had been assured the night before the paperwork would be ready at checkout and I'd be able to test drive the vehicle. Including the test drive we were at the dealership for 2 1/2 hours. It wasn't ideal nor what I'd consider express. I'd still recommend CarMax yet I'd warn them of the issues I faced. More
