Honestly don’t believe they checked anything on my vehicle before selling it. Both battery key fobs were low, my tire pressure light was on, no gas was in the vehicle, there was a slit on one of my ti vehicle before selling it. I set a appointment to find out why the tire pressure light was on and at that time they said that I just needed new tires. I went back for a second time and got the new tires, on my way home the tire pressure light came back on, I live almost a hour away so it’s not easy to just get up and go to the dealership. I needed up taking it somewhere else and it was a bad tire sensor that I ended up having replaced. I’m not sure on why they didn’t check that in the beginning. I was also told at the time I purchased the vehicle that once i set my appiointment they could buff out the scratches that were all over the vehicle at that time. Well when i went the 1st time and they decided I needed new tires they told me that they would do it all when they replaced the tires. Once the tires were replaced i was told that there’s only one buffing guy and he’s on a late maternity leave. This is the second vehicle i’ve purchased here and the 1st expierence was very good. This time has been horrible. I was reimbursed for the gas i put in the vehicle since there was none in it at the time of purchase. More

When I reached out for help, instead of taking responsibility, they told me something about how they could only sell me the vehicle because of a “verified phone number.” Like seriously? That’s the excuse? If you’re thinking about buying from them — don’t. They rush the sale, skip over important details, and clearly don’t care about the customer once they’ve got your money. Save yourself the headache and take your business somewhere that actually stands behind what they sell. More

The dealership is very good. The process did take a bit longer than I had expected. I was disappointed that they had so little info about the vehicle I purchased. They should know more about the cars and provide the info to the purchaser. However, they were not interested in having the complete service records on the car I sold them. I had them with me to prove the quality of the car I was selling them. I’m not sure I will purchase my next vehicle from Carmax instead of a dealer. My previous 4 vehicles were purchased new ftom a Toyota or Lexus dealer, and the service with sale has been excellent with all four. Carmax does not provide the same services and followup care that I am accustomed to getting. More
