The dealership was absolutely fine. I don’t remember the sales person’s name, but he was perfectly fine. What was NOT fine was the process. The coordination between the centralized corporate division and the actual dealerships is quite poor. Turns out, our preapproval expired before we got to the dealership. No one from corporate Carmax called to refresh it. We got to the dealership and had to do it again…….UNACCEPTABLE. The first time we were approved with Santander and at a lower rate. But when we got to the dealership, Santander would not again (even though nothing had changed). It almost turned out to be a very embarrassing situation, which you should not want. More
