I wanted a new truck, but the one I was considering sold before I could get in for a test drive. Carl Hogan gave me a great pre-owned alternative with low miles. Returned to dealer and they acknowledged wrong battery had been installed. They had installed a 550 cold cranking amp instead of the correct 750 CCA battery. I just don't see how that big of an error could happen when it was so obvious the battery was not even close to the same size as the OEM battery! I told the technician about the rough idle also. Correct battery was installed but the paperwork was not changed to reflect the new/different battery even though I asked about it. They claimed it was changed "in the computer". Service manager then tried to explain that I needed some throttle body work/cleaning to correct the rough idle. I declined knowing it just needed to be 'reset'. I left the dealership and discovered the technician had already reset the rough idle problem,so I'm glad I declined the service managers 'suggestion' of further service work. To top it all off, they hit me with a $5 upcharge for using my credit card and they have a $5 fee for 'shop supplies'. I really don't know what 'supplies' they could use to change a battery since all that is needed is a wrench and/or a socket! I don't even trust this dealership to do my oil changes anymore. I most likely won't return to this dealership. More
