My recent purchase and trade-in are my second time shopping with Carmax. I was once again very pleased with the trade-in and delivery of a new (used) car. It was such an easy process, and the staff answered all of our questions. My car is wonderful. However I saw a check engine light on one Sunday evening and I called the manager on duty. He promptly told me to bring the car back the next day. He gave it some diagnostic test and took my car to the Mercedes dealership where they fixed the problem for free, since it was an emission issue under warranty! I was happy! More

The car was in much worse shape than advertised. There were many dings, scratches, and chips that were not disclosed. The inside was still dirty and smelled odd. I would never use CarMax again.
