Nice! Arrived maybe 10 minutes ahead of schedule and was in and out in no time. Appreciate the detailed maintenance check done which uncovered a dirty air filter and weak battery (I elected to take care of those myself). I happened to see that my vehicle was parked in the finish lane so I wandered back out to the service counter unannounced. I didn't see Ruth anywhere but instead of an awkward indeterminate wait, Denny stepped in and completed the checkout. That's what win together looks like to me. More
I brought my 2014 Tacoma in for service. I called and got an appointment for the next day. I asked and was given an early morning appointment. fast and efficient I did have to wait almost 5 minutes when I arrived for someone to acknowledge my presence but once they did, all was great. Toyota Rav 4 This is our third time having a vehicle serviced at Carver Toyota. All three visits have been fairly disappointing. Our first experience was for an This is our third time having a vehicle serviced at Carver Toyota. All three visits have been fairly disappointing. Our first experience was for an insurance claim for our Toyota Rav 4. This took several weeks to get this complete with poor communication with not only us but the insurance adjuster. The second car was our son's 2003 mustang. This car was in for an oil leak. We discussed the fix and agreed on a price and since I had figured it was a fair price we added tires and an alignment. It took about a month to get the repairs completed and then it was leaking transmission fluid. That was fixed and mostly covered by the service department. Since bringing it home there is fluid leaking from near the driver's side rear wheel. It smells like grease. They said they had a hard time getting the alignment done and figured it was excess grease used. It has not stopped leaking and due to the last appointment I am fearful of bringing it back in. The communication was not what I had expected I had to call in for updates and rarely received a call back. The latest was for our Rav 4 which was experiencing a shimmy while shifting into higher gears and overdrive. The torque converter was replaced. We needed the vehicle back in a certain time frame and we were promised it by Thursday evening, Friday morning at the latest. We needed the car Saturday after noon. Our car was not ready until Tuesday. We did get a loaner vehicle, but that was not the point. Again we were given a time frame which could not be delivered on. We are happy with the sales department with the exception of the gentleman (I use that loosely) who did our finance on our 2006 mustang purchased last July. He lied to us about the cost of the service agreement. With the help of Cathy everything was fixed. Cathy Lammer and Josh Branum have been a pleasure to work with. More
