They are very professional, very attentive when I drove in and in 5 or so minutes the truck was being serviced. Mike explained everything that was done. Eventho' it is very close, if the service and experience were not excellent, I would drive into Denver. I choose Medved for my quick lube service here in Castle Rock. More

Colorado Revised Statute 42-9-101 My truck was towed into the service area for repair. I asked that an estimate cost of the repair be given to me before the repairs were made. I also signed the written consent at the time the vehicle was brought in, and signed a request for a written estimate before repairs could be made. Here is a brief summary of the state law: 1. A vehicle repair facility must obtain the written consent of the customer before performing any repairs. DONE with the caveat that I will get an estimate before repairs start 2. If the repair facility does not get written owner consent at the time the vehicle is brought in, before starting work they must verbally communicate the estimate and get the owner's verbal authorization, then write on the estimate (invoice) the name of the employee who made the call, the date, time and phone number called, and the name of the person who gave consent to do the repair. 3. In the event the vehicle is towed, the written or oral estimate provision rule does not apply. In this instance, up to $100 of the work may be done without an estimate. My total amount of work was over $100 and I did not get an estimate. 4. The repair facility must include in the estimate the total repair cost, completion date, whether new or used or rebuilt parts will be installed, whether any replaced parts will be returned at the request of the owner, and any cost if the owner chooses not to have the work done. NO estimate received. 5. A copy of the completed written estimate of the total cost of repair must be provided to the customer. NO estimate received 6. If additional repairs are necessary after the original work has been started, the repair facility must again get the owner's consent before the extra work is done. Otherwise the repair facility can charge the owner only the estimated cost plus 10% or $25, whichever is less. The Motor Vehicle Repair Act also includes requirements for diagnostic work, parts, warranty work, invoices, giving up rights to an estimate and penalties if the law is not followed. General manager Bill Maffeo took charge, corrected the unfortunate situation and got me into the car I wanted. I also wish to thank Jim Davis for his excellent customer service and professionalism. On 10/142014 I went to Medved Ford in Castle Rock to test drive a CMAX Plug in Hybrid. I test drove a plug in Hybrid with Eric. I liked the car and agreed to purchase. Eric then pointed to a 2013 CMAX and indicated this car was identical to the one I test drove for a lower price. I asked Eric, “Is this the Energi Model?” Eric said it was. I told Eric and his manager Randy the only reason I was purchasing the car was to take advantage of the $4000.00 federal tax rebate. They assured me I was getting a plug in hybrid for the lower price. Just as I completed the paper work for the car (5 hours later). Randy informed me the CMAX had a recall and I would not be able to receive the car. Randy and Eric said they would find me a similar car. In the meantime I wired $11,000 to Medved Ford to purchase the CMAX. Eric and Randy were unable to find a plug in but kept sending me non plug in replacements. I replied I wanted a plug in like the one I purchased. I didn't hear form Randy or Eric until the first week of November when they asked me to finalize the purchase of the car, and take delivery when the warranty work was complete. I was willing to purchase without delivery so I could take advantage of the $4000.00 plug-in tax credit. Randy sent an Email to me on 11/4/2014 stating , “If I don't receive your response we will take it as you don't want to purchase the vehicle and have decided against the tax credits”. I completed a purchase document on the CMAX with the understanding the car will be delivered after the Air Bag problem is corrected. On 1/28/2015 my wife picked up the car and brought it home. I talked to her that night and asked if she plugged in the car? She aid there was no plug in on the car. At this time I realized I did not purchase a plug in hybrid. I waited 3 months for a NON PLUG IN HYBRID!!!!! NO TAX CREDIT!!! Unable to travel 20 miles in electric mode. I am furious and my wife contacted John. He immediately acknowledged Eric and Randy sold me the wrong car and would correct the situation. John has agreed to take the CMAX back for $7,000 less than I paid and allow me to purchase a new plug in CMAX for 29,000. John crafted a deal which will cost me $9,000 more to get a plug in. This is the worst car buying experience of my life. The lies and deceit surrounding this transaction are beyond belief. More

Post correct hours on your door I got to the service center at 4:10 pm, the sign on the roll up door says open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. I spoke to the service center rep and informed him that I was there for an oil change. He then told me that they aren't accepting any more vehicles for the day, that they stop accepting vehicles at 4:00 pm. If this is truly the case they should post that they actually close at 4:00 pm because this is essentially the same thing. Or at least post no more vehicles after 4:00 pm. While driving away I witnessed all the mechanics putting together new tool boxes, I didn't see any vehicles in any of the bays. My thought is the toolboxes were more important than the customers. Being that I just moved to the area and they are the only Ford dealership in the area this is disappointing. I think I will be changing my own oil from here on out. More
