New Car Experience I was directed to Medved Ford in Castle Rock by using the CarGuru website and searching for the car that I was interested in. Kendall Saylor contacte I was directed to Medved Ford in Castle Rock by using the CarGuru website and searching for the car that I was interested in. Kendall Saylor contacted me almost immediately and confirmed that they indeed had that particular car and that is was available at a price that reflected my using CarGuru. I made an appointment and was able to take a test drive that lead me to purchasing the car. Mr Saylor was very helpful and informative about the features of the car and helped me make my decision. The best Dealer! We purchased a new Ford Escape from this dealership. Our sales representative, Shawn O'Neill, was probably the most attentive, patient, and thorough s We purchased a new Ford Escape from this dealership. Our sales representative, Shawn O'Neill, was probably the most attentive, patient, and thorough salesperson I have ever dealt with. We spent about an hour checking out several different vehicles before we decided on two different ones. We were able to test drive both the Escape and Eco-Sport. We chose the Escape because the Eco-Sport was just a bit too small. Shawn was patient while we decided which vehicle we wanted to purchase. He wasn't pushy, like I have experienced with so many other dealers in the past. After we chose the specific vehicle he continued to be attentive and answer all of our questions. He took about 20 minutes explaining all the features of the car. We drove over 50 miles to get to the dealership and would gladly make the trip again. The story does not end there. The reason we purchased a new car was because we got hit by a hail storm in June of 2018 and all three of our vehicles were totaled. In early August, another hail storm came through our area and just destroyed this new vehicle. Unable to get a rental car from our area we went to the rental place at Medved. We were unable to secure a car; but, the dealership loaned us a car to use, at no cost to us, while we wait for our insurance to make a determination on our claim. We will be purchasing a new car from the dealership, either from trade in of the first car or straight out if the car is totaled. UPDATE: I cannot say enough good things about the sales department at Medved Ford. While we were waiting to settle things with our insurance company these guys went out of their way to find a vehicle that matched what we were looking for to replace the damaged one. Our insurance company, unfortunately, was not very kind to us in regards to the damaged 2018 Ford Escape we purchased in July. We went back to the dealership to see what we could do. These guys pulled out all the stops and took our heavily damaged vehicle back for trade. We expressed that we were not enthusiastic about the trade in price they offered and we were going to end up with an extreme amount of negative equity from the trade. I don't know how the sales manager, Brad Rafter, pulled it off, but he got the negative equity down a bit further and really worked hard for us to get the proposed payment down to an amount we felt comfortable with. As always, Shawn O'Neill was really great getting us through the paperwork once we settled on a deal. Before I finish I want to mention one other person by name. Kevin, last name unknown, is one of the sales managers that also assisted us during this whole situation. He was also very great. And both finance guys we worked with were awsome, unfortunetely I don't remember either of their names because we only spent about 15 minutes with each of them when we signed papers. More
