Purchased a 2024 Frontier on December 26, 2024. Still waiting on my plates to come as my temporary plate expires February 24, 2025. I've had problems with this dealership in the past on the sales side. Well, thier service/ parts aren't any better apparently. I recently went there(really because it is the closest dealership to my ho sales side. Well, thier service/ parts aren't any better apparently. I recently went there(really because it is the closest dealership to my house and wanted to give them another chance), because a trim piece had broken off of my passenger side seat. I have a 2023 Titan with the 100,000 mile warranty from Nissan. They would not cover the broken party because they said it "looked like the clip did not break, but the plastic tab broke, and that never happens unless the customer broke it, so it is not a manufacturer defect". I tried to argue the point of why I would want to break stiff off on my own vehicle and that I've owned other Titans and never had this part fail like this. So the service advisor looked up the part cost and said $224 + $100 labor to install. I was livid that first of all, they were making a big deal about a $200 part instead of just covering under warranty. Secondly , $100 in labor for a 15 min. Swap? Well, out of frustration, I ordered the party through them, they did give me a military discount which brought the cost of the party down to $210. Was told it would be here in about 2 days. While waiting for the part, I kept getting frustrated about how I was dealt with by the service dept. So I went to a different dealership. I showed them the issue and they said they would cover it under warranty, no questions asked. I didn't have to explain anything to them. The new dealership I went to even said why argue with the customer over $100 part? I said well Cavender Nissan of Rockwall was charging me $210 after a military discount. The new dealership could not believe it. He showed me thier invoice ( it was $114). Then I googled the part number and found it at multiple dealerships from $115-$140. Unless you want to just give away your hard earned money, I would stay away from Cavender Nissan of Rockwall, they will gladly rob you with a smile on thier face. More
