Very UNSATISFIED customers! We purchased a 2020 Acura MDX A-SPEC from Cerritos Acura dealership. We had test driven the car before and decided to purchase one. Before doing this, I got a quote via email from Weir Canyon Acura, but they did not have a WHITE one, but they said they can get it in 2 or 3 days. Called Cerritos Acura and they told me they had only one in stock. We went to check it out and sales consultant Nathan Walker helped us. We went inside to negotiate price and Nathan told us you are going to like my price that I am going to offer you and we did like it because it was almost the same as the quote we got from other dealer, any higher and we would have walked out. We even gave Nathan our quote that we got from the other dealership. Next he brought another worksheet with payment plans at 4.75% and 4.96% for terms of 60 & 72 months. We picked 72 month payments, thinking of course the payments were based on the AGREED NEGOTIATED PRICE. We painfully waited for about 1-1/2 hour to see the finance person AK (fast talker and hard to understand). He brought out the big long contract and I saw the base price that did not match what we agreed on, he quickly said all the discounts were already taken into account. We looked at each other and said well they are the experts they know what they are doing, we signed and left. We were already sick and tired after spending about 4-1/2 hours at the dealership. Next day I reviewed the contract and told me wife ‘I think we were ripped off!!!’. More than $3000.00. Apparently, we did NOT get the price we agreed on instead, it looks like Acura Cerritos backed the monthly payment they showed us into the Cash price for the vehicle. They use shady tactics to lure you in and then change price after. I called Nathan the sales consultant and asked him about the price and he pretty much acted stupid, I found out who he was working with back and forth and I called him too, his name is MIKE OSBORN Sales Manager, he pretty much told me to go pound sand TOO BAD!! You signed the contract and there’s nothing I can do for you. We spoke with other general managers for help and basically they could not help us. I guess they can’t go against their team. How dishonest, deceitful and shady of these people, they pulled a fast one on us! We trusted them with all our heart. Do all Acura Dealerships knowingly cheat their customers???? We can not believe such a large Corporation can operate this way with a clear conscience. Shame on Cerritos Acura they cheated us! Having these cheaters working for a well known Dealership like Acura, ruin it for the rest of their coworkers because we are not coming back to Cerritos Acura Dealership ever! We are not going to give them our business for car services, accessories, etc. I do not like wasting my time writing these types of reviews but sometimes it’s necessary to do them so people know they shouldn’t do business with ACURA Cerritos. I strongly would NOT recommend this Dealership. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau even though I do not expect Cerritos Acura do anything to resolve the issue or keep their customers happy. Very UNSATISFIED customers!!!
