phone appointment scheduling I called the dealership on Monday. As I was traveling, I asked that she schedule my appointment for Wednesday. The person who answered my service ca I called the dealership on Monday. As I was traveling, I asked that she schedule my appointment for Wednesday. The person who answered my service call, asked twice what year and make of car. Twice I responded it was a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. Finally, at the end, she asked "and what would be a good time on Tuesday?". That was the first red flag that this phone person did not have both shoes on her feet. So we scheduled the appointment for "Wednesday" for my "Chrysler". Then I got an email confirmation from "Ford". My wife said "Ford?". Maybe I should call the dealership as maybe this was another red flag. I did not as it was the same dealership for both Chrysler and Ford. Upon arriving Wednesday at the dealership for my 10 am appointment, the Ford service bay said I needed to take my "Chrysler" to the Chrysler service building. Another red flag as they were separate. The Chrysler service bay said they did not have an appointment for me. Obviously the phone person made the service appointment for my Chrysler with the Ford service department. In summary, the person scheduling phone appointments for service, had a bad day. Hopefully others who schedule appointments are not handled so as to be scheduled for the correct service department. Be careful. And if you get an email saying you are scheduled for service for a vehicle which is not your make of vehicle, then best call Chapman and get it fixed. More
Never visit I went there to look at a keep that had rebate offers, granted I didn't qualify for all of them but they didn't mention them until I asked. Hours lat I went there to look at a keep that had rebate offers, granted I didn't qualify for all of them but they didn't mention them until I asked. Hours later of negotiating a price they weren't half way to their advertised price. They pressured me into signing several forms and said they wouldn't run my credit but that they would wait until they had verbal confirmation. I checked credit varna several days latter and saw they ran it without my permission. I called several times since trying to get ahold of John, Frank, or anyone above them to complain about this but they will not return my calls. This tells me they knew what they did was wrong and tried to pull something shady in order to get me to try and buy through them. Don't trust these people. More

I went in to look at a new arrival I saw on the website. I was told that since the car was not through their shop yet that I would be charged an extra $1700 for the shop bill. I'm sorry that's not something you tell a customer. After they tried to rip me off on my trade I had enough and politely said thanks for your time and walked away. As I'm leaving, I hear the sAles manager bad mouthing me because I figured out their scam. I would never recommend this dealership More

Got automated response, and then a real one. I requested an OTD price, but have not heard back. I tried again through web site, and they said the car MAY OR MAY NOT be there, so they'd contact me. Once again, no email or anything. I work in an environment that does not permit personal phone calls. This is 2017, learn how to use email instead of abuse it with your scripted communication. Also, what is the purpose of live chat if they do not know anything or broker that information to someone else for follow up? More

The finance person raised his voice to me without a reason and told me I couldn't afford the car I wanted , wouldnt offer me any other car. He was extremely rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I was close to tears. (I am pregnant and emotional) but no one should treat potentional customers this way. They totally ruined my car buying experience. I went to Ciocca in Querkertown 45minutes farther from me and in 3 hours drove off with the Ford edge i wanted. They made me feel like family. So I can afford a car at another Ford dealer but I'm good enough for Chapman. More

Came to Chapman Ford with my father to assist him in purchasing a new F150. Found a truck online and met with salesman Fred Bell. Fred was very professional and took whatever time needed to go over the vehicle. We gave them a monthly payment we did not want to exceed and with very little negotiation they came to that number. Very please with the salesman Fred Bell and Chapman Ford. In addition I needed an oil change in my new truck. Without an appointment the service department (Joe Kerwick) was able to get my vehicle in for service while we purchased another new truck! Thank you! More

Had allowed them to run the credit report and got pre-approved before the appointment. Showed up and Jenine wasn't even working. Edward picked us up and went to look for the car. A half hour later, he informed us that the car had been sold 2 days earlier. No notice, phone call, email...nothing. Nothing but a complete waste of my time. Don't waste yours! I sent Jenine an email about what happened-she had sent me 15 emails the days leading up to the appointment day and not surprisingly, I never heard back from her. Guess they don't care about wasting your time or apologizing for their mistakes either. Bad, bad, bad all around. More
This is how it's done. We went to Chapman Jeep during a long day of car shopping. It was a very positive experience! We purchased a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. From th We went to Chapman Jeep during a long day of car shopping. It was a very positive experience! We purchased a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. From the moment we stepped on the lot we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. D.J. Crilly greeted us promptly and did an excellent job of presenting the vehicle. Apparently a proper walk around of a new vehicle is a thing of the past but not at Chapman. D.J. did a wonderful job of taking his time to really go through the car and make us aware of what we were looking at from bumper to bumper. He demonstrated a good knowledge of the vehicle without sounding like he was reading from the owner's manual. He stuck to the features that were important to us and was ready to answer even the most technical question right off the top of his head. We went inside and met with Frank Alexander who worked with D.J. to get us what I feel is an excellent price. There wasn't a ton of back and forth and Frank was available throughout the entire negotiation making us feel comfortable as opposed to that feeling that you're dealing with the wizard behind the curtain. We came to an agreement on price fairly quickly and never felt like it was an "us against them" situation. We couldn't be happer with the Jeep but we are also very, very happy with the entire process. Could we have played 2-3 Jeep dealers against eachother to save nickels and dimes? Maybe maybe not, but the true value of this transaction is that we don't care. We got a car we love, at a price that is more than fair, in an environment that was friendly and positive the entire time at a dealership that we wouldn't hesitate doing business with in the future. We will certainly be service customers and will recommend Chapman, D.J and Frank to anyone we know who is looking for a new or used car. More
