Called Daniel on short notice to bring in car for oil change. He told me that if I brought the car in at 1pm, he would have it ready for pick up at 2:30pm. Everything went as promised. I am extremely happy with your sales department. They were willing to make a deal with me that compensated for the large amount that I had spent on repairs of my old car. The salesman also pointed out that the model I bought, the Elantra, was a better deal than the supposedly less expensive Accent. I am very happy with the quality of my new car and its features. I took my car in to find out what problems needed to be fixed before the warranty expired. Many problems were found, about half of which were covered by the warranty. The main problem, as far as I knew, was that there was an oil leak. However, the service technicians claimed there wasn't one. They did, however, say that a number of unrelated problems needed attention. So I authorized them to fix whatever was wrong and I paid more than I am willing to admit for repairs. In retrospect, I should not have authorized as many non-warranty repairs as I did because they amounted to more than the car was worth at the time. That was poor judgment on my part, but at the same time, a responsible service manager should not have suggested such extensive repairs to such an old car. The main reason I am complaining about the service is that when I picked the car up and had driven it home and then to work, I discovered that the transmission was not working properly: it seemed to be searching gears at random when I accelerated and decelerated. Please note the following: PRIOR TO THE SERVICE, MY CAR NEVER HAD ONE SINGLE PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION. Obviously the problem was caused by a service technician. Fortunately, they were willing to fix that problem free of charge even though my warranty had expired by that time. The issue of the oil leak remains a mystery because the service department couldn't find the cause of it, but they did offer to do an oil consumption test at no charge. More

I want to have Daniel recognized for his good work but you make a pain to fill this review out because I have to have a certain amount of characters, if I don't give you this and that information, etc. it won't go through or be excepted. So now my review is no longer on Daniel, who was exception with his service, but on whoever the idiot was that put this survey system together that requires I write 250 characters or more!!! If you want to make a customer mad, make him go through hoops to fill out a survey system when all they want to do is tell you someone did a really great job of serving you!! More
