DONT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING DON'T GO TO CHEVY 112 FOR ANYTHING TO BUY OR FOR SERVICE!!!!!!!! After serving in the navy for 5 years I bought a car with having in mind that I would have the car paid off after I got out of the military and I would be home free with a car that was barely driven. Well unfortunately my time in the military got cut a little short and I was unable to pay off the car in the time that I wanted to. Nonetheless I bought the car from Chevy 112 after not driving the car for two years because I was overseas in japan, I found myself home with my car I started driving it every day to get back and forth from work and to see family everything started to go south with the car. At about 20,000 miles the car started to go to xxxx. The manual transmission wound up blowing a ball bearing through the transmission housing they fixed that. After the air conditioning motor went bad then the tie rod on the passenger side all which Chevy 112 replaced. After that is went thing took a turn for the worse. I brought the car in for something that I thought would have been an easy thing for them. I bought the car in because the heated seat wasn't working and I heard a clicking noise in reverse from the transmission. They wound up calling me about a week later and told me they found nothing wrong (the heated seats still don't work now) when I arrived there I found my car had lift damages and damage to the driver’s side fender they refused they did the damages I called to cops to report the damages and after the report was filed I brought the car home. A couple of weeks passed and I was driving home from a friend’s house and the brakes became rock hard I could not hit the brakes at all. I didn't want to bring it to 112 after the incident so I bought it to Atlantic Chevy they replaced the intake manifold because the vacuum tube that connects the intake to the master brake cylinder cracked off. After talking to the parts guy at Atlantic he said the only way that happens is if someone (like when replacing the transmission) breaks it. So 20000 miles after the first transmission goes now at 40000 miles the second transmission seems to have gone. I called Chevy corporate because all the Chevy dealerships refused to work on my car. While in conversation with corporate I talked to 27 different customer service reps and 4 managers (senior advisors) where only one of them was even a little helpful but still having to contact the BBB. This fight with corporate took a month because I didn’t want Chevy 112 to look at the car due to the problem I had with them. So I did give in and I drove the car to Chevy 112 where they refused to work on my car. After the contact with the BBB it took a week from another dealer to look at my car Smithtown Chevy where they found that it was only the cable from the manual shift to the transmission broke off. With that being said they were to only dealer to take one the challenge but it did take them a week and a half to fix an issue that should have only taken 1.6 hours by the book the felt compelled to charge me 3 hours labor and diagnostics when my Warrentech warranty insurance paid for the "JOB" (1.6 hours) and diagnostics which after talking to Warrentech they said they were covering. So as of today I have sold my 2013 Chevy Sonic LTZ and bought a 2016 Subaru Impreza. More

Had to wait for a month for an oil change so I could wait for it and wound up waiting all morning. Tried to by a spare key from them and paid $80 (it is what it is) but it didn't work. When I went back in the parts guy had an attitude and tried to make me feel stupid telling me I didn't know what I was doing. He came out with me and the key didn't work for him either. Then we had to wait for another half hour while they tried making another one. The second key didn't work either and when we asked for our $80 back we were told "no" because the key had been cut already. At that point I started yelling and asking for a manager and was told that they would not get a manager for me. After about a total of an hour of agrevation and complaining I finally got my money back. Will never go back their again. They are rude, stupid and have no notion of what customer service is. More

Brought truck back July 21 received call 5pm, said could not get alignment right had to do a knockout. Agreed on price said would do truck in morning. Called back at 10 am to see where truck was at. Called all day...never received call back. Finally spoke to someone at 2:00,told me they did not have the experience to do this kind of work. bring it somewhere else. How sad is that a certified Chevy dealer could not align a 95 Chevy pick up truck. Service department are very rude! Would never recommend this Dealer ship to anyone! More

The truck had bad fuel injectors and the first repair shop only repaired one injector while the protocol is to repair all 8. Long story short Chevy called me in and said the truck was so rusted that the technician 'broke the glow plugs off' causing now the repair job to increase from a $9,500 dollar job to a $17,000 job. I know nothing about Diesels but know that I drove a truck in for a repair and had to tow it out of the shop and pay 1200$ for full diagnostics which I later found out, if the technician had used a proper technique they would not have BROKEN off the glow plugs causing much more damage which I could not afford to fix. I ended up taking the truck to a very nice professional in Riverhead who specializes in Duramax Diesel and who was shocked at the 'broken' glow plugs - total incompetance. When I asked Matty why he had not informed me ahead of time of the total cost of a full diagnositics of what was now 'broken' would cost- he changed the subject by stating that he gave me a 'loaner' car for free. Hmmm. A loaner is a loaner, not a rental. When I stated that a loaner is called a loaner becausee it is no charge, he stated that Chevy does not give loaner cars due to they are not a high end shop. Interesting as there was a big sign in the car that said 'loaner'. More
This dealership did body damage to our car while doing routine maintenance and an inspection. From the moment we reported the damage they have denied everything without even looking at the car. We hav routine maintenance and an inspection. From the moment we reported the damage they have denied everything without even looking at the car. We have 4 GM vehicles and have used them for several years. They've lost our business. We met two of their service managers in small claims court in January. The court asked us to try to work it out in the hallway before going to mediation. They were rude and aggressive from the get go. They wanted to go to trial immediately (which is not their choice, they are the defendants). We said we wanted to go to mediation. At mediation the female twisted everything we had said in the hallway. The mediator asked my husband and I to leave the room and tried to encourage them to make us an offer. They refused. We agreed to go to trial but got an adjournment because we only had one estimate for the repair. (The court requires two.) We eventually dropped it because everyone we asked said that we could not win because I signed that the car was okay (I hadn’t seen it) when I picked it up. Lesson learned. Don’t deal with them; they have no integrity. More
