On May 29, 2009 I had initially gone in to get a lens installed for my underhood light. About 5 minutes after I left the the dealership my transmission developed a severe leak causing me to pull over to installed for my underhood light. About 5 minutes after I left the the dealership my transmission developed a severe leak causing me to pull over to the side of the road. I called Friendly because I had purchased the vehicle there and it was still under warranty. The Service Manager, Mr Trueblood, had a tow truck on it's way to me in 15 minutes. It arrived 30 minutes after I made the initial call. When the vehicle arrived at Friendly Chevrolet I was met by Mr Trueblood who introduced me to Tim Smith who would be handling my vehicle from that point forward. The vehicle was evaluated that day. The transmission was diagnosed as having a casting flaw resulting in the case itself being irreparably damaged. A new transmission was ordered and installed. I was kept appraised at every step of the way by either Mr Trueblood or Mr Smith. I got the car back on June 8, 2009. It had been washed, waxed and vacuumed out. Mr Smith met me when I picked the vehicle up. He showed me my old transmission and then took me to my car. The car is a 2005 Corvette and I am a kind of "fussy" owner. After examining the vehicle I can state that I am exceptionally happy with the service, treatment and the overall experience I had with Friendly Chevrolet. I will recommend this dealership to my friends that have Corvettes and GM products. I will also be taking my other GM products there in the future. Great Job...Thank YOU. More
