Horrible service. Service so bad it makes me regret purchasing a brand new truck there in 2018. Truck had issues starting, I scheduled an appointment for Friday 9:30am and dropped it off. Called Friday evening to follow up and was told they haven't even looked at it yet, but it may be a bad battery. No big deal right? So I called Saturday morning to find out what is going on, the person in charge of my truck repair said she did know what was going on, she would talk to the technician and call me back in 5 minutes. Well over a hour later, still no phone call, so I call back again, and now she said they don't know what is wrong and someone will look at it on Monday. So I get mad and speak to a supervisor, who basically agrees with my issues, but nothing they can do about it, I just need to deal with it. I get that the pandemic can cause issues with such, but there is NO excuse for not responding in a timely manner and following up on phone calls and keeping the customer informed. More

Service provider not knowledgeable on issue found with my car. I declined the service because it couldn't be properly explained to me. I went to Jerry Ulm and the service provider there was able to explain w car. I declined the service because it couldn't be properly explained to me. I went to Jerry Ulm and the service provider there was able to explain what the leak was,what the labor cost and needed parts to be replaced were. The price quoted was cheaper than the price originally given at Jim Browne. It was surprising to recieve better service from Jerry Ulm. I also asked for report on the inspection thats done when car is serviced and was advised I didn't need it since everything was yellow except the one red issue that needed to be fixed immediately. I must say during a very hectic holiday season , Carlos Knowles came through for me . Not only did he get the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon I wanted but even delivered it to me . I live over 2 hours from Knowles came through for me . Not only did he get the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon I wanted but even delivered it to me . I live over 2 hours from the dealership. Saved me at least 1/2 a day of my life . I would highly recommend this salesman and his dealership. They find ways to make car deals not complicate them. Great job ! More
I just purchased a new Ram 2500 from Todd Warner at Jim Browne. I can’t say buying a vehicle is fun but Todd was great to deal with. I had a very pleasant/positive experience at Jim Browne Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Tampa Bay in November 2020. Before visiting the dealership, I received "upfront/no haggle quotes" on two 2021 Ram 1500 trucks I was interested in. I scheduled an appointment over the phone with Carlos Knowles, Internet Sales Manager, to visit the dealership and test drive the two Ram Trucks. This ended up being the easiest, lowest-stress car buying experience I have had in over 30-plus years! When I arrived at the dealership, Carlos was waiting outside with the two Trucks I wanted to test drive. While I was out on the test drive, Tom Kanaley, GM Sales Manager, inspected my GMC Sierra that I was trading in. Although I expected their might be some negotiation required on the trade-in-value for my GMC Sierra, Tom Kanaley/Jim Browne CJDR gave me a very fair trade-in price for my car, with no haggling required! After driving and deciding upon a beautiful 2021 Patriot Blue Ram 1500 Limited, Carlos and I went inside to discuss the terms of the transaction. In just a few minutes Carlos had the sales/trade offer back from the Sales Manager's desk. There was none of the historical "back-and-forth antics/discussions/roleplaying" between salesperson and manager that you can still endure at other dealerships. There were also no surprises whatsoever in the terms of the deal; the purchase price for the Ram, the trade-in-value for my GMC, and the amount left to finance and other fees were down to the penny on what I expected to pay based on information disclosed by the dealership in the quotes provided on their web site. There was also no pressure whatsoever from Carlos as I double-checked the terms of the offer and then made my decision that this would best deal I would get on the truck that I wanted. After buying a vehicle at Jim Browne CJDR of Tampa Bay, I would recommend the dealership without reservation to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. It's obvious the company purposefully hires, trains and expects their associates to do business the right way and are focused on delivering excellent customer service. Most importantly, you feel valued and respected as a customer during the entire process of purchasing a vehicle at the dealership. In my opinion, they are some of the successful, few dealerships that understand it isn't just about selling a customer one vehicle, they make the experience a positive one in which they ensure they will receive repeat business and referrals from their customers.
