I came away from the experience confident that the Cadillac Optiq was the right fit for me (it has been a few weeks since my purchase and I really like my car). Bought a 2020 x3m competition back in march and immediately had issues. Chassis warning light came on due to a faulty right strut and a leaking valve cover gasket that was leaking oil into the down immediately had issues. Chassis warning light came on due to a faulty right strut and a leaking valve cover gasket that was leaking oil into the downpipe causing smoke. They agreed to fix the two issues. Well here we are 4 months later with the car now at a bmw dealership with the same two issues. The repaired valve cover gasket was a terrible hack job and leaking worse than it did prior to their “fix”. The strut that was replaced was never calibrated despite telling me their “German auto tech” knew these cars and it would be fixed. It’s absolutely ridiculous to have a car that was bought 4 months ago, to be in the shop more than it has been on the road. These guys just pencil whip these used car conditions on the reports. More
