Unprofessional, bad business, not a place I would recommend buying from. We were unable to negotiate a price on Saturday and walked away with no issues or concerns. Monday morning we get a call from Sam, the salesman we spoke with on Saturday. Sam told us his General Manager was not there on the weekend but was at work today and he approved a sale price and trade in price. He sent a screenshot of the prices to my wife. We both agreed on the price and purchase of the car. Sam asked for a $1,000 deposit. I informed Sam that we would put a deposit down on the car we just needed something in writing sent via email or text. He agreed and said he would go down to service department and get something in writing. 2.5 hours later Sam calls back and tells us they sold the car to another person. Sam apologized and acknowledged that this should not have occurred. I then spoke with Ken the manager. Ken was rude and did not offer to correct the issue. As a matter of fact, when I advised Ken that he was the manager that ok’d the deal this morning (I later verified he was the same manager that was there over the weekend) with us and that he should not have approved a second one on the same car, he said the car is not sold until it leaves the lot. Ken did not understand the words pending purchase. A price was agreed upon in writing and a deposit was to be placed once Sam sent the paperwork. Not a family run business. I would not recommend Ciocca to anyone. Unprofessional, unethical, immoral, and just the reason that used car salespersons get a bad reputation. Here it is well deserved. Congratulations to Sam, Ken, and the rest of the team at Ciocca at Flemington. I wish the best of luck to the person(s) who purchased the 2016 bmw x3 35i xdrive with 23,000 miles, black in color with mocha interior. ZERO STARS to the team at Ciocca!! More
