This was, without question, the worst customer service experience we have ever had! Our experience with this dealership was completely unacceptable start to finish. While we were actively trying to purc experience we have ever had! Our experience with this dealership was completely unacceptable start to finish. While we were actively trying to purchase a vehicle, Sandy -a salesperson at this dealership accidentally texted us a message that was clearly meant for an employee but about us. In that message, they called us “stupid.” We have screenshots (attached). Sandy, her boss and other staff acknowledged the embarrassing text related to us as customers. They promised they would make this right but in fact, it got so much worse. We were assigned a new agent, who was supposed to help us with our purchase. We discussed the car and filled out forms sent us to run our credit etc. The dealership ran our credit on a Friday for the vehicle we believed we were purchasing but we later (4 days later) learned that the vehicle had actually been sold the day before! Think about that—they knowingly or negligently ran our credit for a car that was no longer available. We weren’t even informed until Monday, after an entire weekend of believing everything was moving forward. So let’s recap: • Wednesday: We were called “stupid” by dealership staff. • Thursday: We send our details in attempt to still purchase the car. Thursday: They sell that car (not to us) • Friday: Our credit was run for the car that had already been sold. • We were left in the dark for days. • Monday: WE had to follow up with a call and find out that the car had been sold even though they ran our credit. We were promised the General Manager would personally contact us to address everything – the insulting text message, the unnecessary credit inquiry and the mishandling of the sale. That call never came and we have heard nothing since! (It’s been over 2 weeks) We were bounced around from manager to manager – Amanda and Dean being among them. Each time, we were the ones having to follow up and every time we spoke to someone new, they explained that they knew about our situation. So they were all fully aware of what had transpired yet there was no urgency and seemingly no genuine concern for how we had been treated. This is completely unacceptable! This dealership has shown a complete lack of professionalism, honesty, communication, and respect for its customers. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds to those mistakes says everything about its character. Instead of owning their errors and keeping their word of ‘making it right’, they ignored us and hoped we’d go away. Take your business somewhere that values its customers. We certainly will, and we’ll be warning everyone we know to avoid this dealership. More
I spent almost $2,600. 00 for service here. They told me they would have my car ready by 1 pm and never called or text. I finally called them at 2:30 pm and kept getting t 00 for service here. They told me they would have my car ready by 1 pm and never called or text. I finally called them at 2:30 pm and kept getting their answering service. I left several voicemails and texts and no response until after I told them to have my car ready because I was coming in to pick it up. They told me they are having issues with their phones, but there is no reason they couldn’t have called me to keep me posted. Also, the girl with the wrinkled shirt at the front completely ignored me when I told her I was very unhappy with the service there. Upon looking at the reviews, they really need some good customers and I spent a lot of money there for them to treat me like I’m garbage. I will NEVER bring my car back here. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Take your car somewhere else. Anything is better than this. More

The Sales Manager called my wife and said in part "I know where you live. I am going to come there and split your husdand's skull wide open'. Seriously. The dealer won't help me protect myself and my wife. They told me the Sales Manager was let go and was very upset when he left but won't give me any additional information. There are a lot dealerships, please go to one of the other dealerships. More
Subject: Transmission Assembly & Torque Converter Replacement – Warranty Requirements and Rental Vehicle Request Date: October 9, 2025 Dear Citrus Ford Service Manager, I am following up regar Replacement – Warranty Requirements and Rental Vehicle Request Date: October 9, 2025 Dear Citrus Ford Service Manager, I am following up regarding my 2022 Ford Explorer, which I purchased from Citrus Ford on September 29 under the 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. The vehicle was brought in for inspection on October 7, and I have since been informed that the transmission assembly and torque converter require replacement and that the necessary parts are currently on back order. Because this is a significant powertrain failure occurring less than two weeks after purchase, I am formally requesting written confirmation that this repair will be fully covered under the powertrain warranty and that all related maintenance and inspections will be performed to ensure the new transmission is not compromised. The following steps should be completed as part of the warranty repair: Flush or replace the transmission cooler and lines, and pressure-test or replace the radiator if integrated; verify clear flow and no debris. Drain and inspect transmission fluid for metal contamination; replace the filter and pan gasket if applicable; refill using Ford-specified transmission fluid and document type and quantity on the repair order. Inspect transmission and engine mounts for cracks, collapse, or leaks; replace as needed. Inspect driveshaft, CV joints, seals, and rear differential for vibration, imbalance, or contamination. Perform a full module scan and update/flash the PCM/TCM to the latest calibration; reset adaptive learn and complete the relearn drive cycle. Conduct a post-repair road test; document shift quality, converter lock-up, and verify there are no leaks. Provide a copy of all technician findings, the list of parts and fluids used, and the “100+ point inspection” referenced at the time of sale. Additionally, Ford has provided me with a rental vehicle during the repair period. Given the nature of the failure, the extended timeline due to back-ordered parts, and the fact that this occurred almost immediately after purchase, I am requesting that the rental vehicle be exchanged for one in the same class as my purchased Explorer — a comparable SUV with similar seating capacity and features. Please coordinate this through Ford’s rental program or your authorized rental partner. If these requirements are not met or coverage is denied without written justification, I will escalate the matter to Ford Corporate Customer Care and to the California Department of Consumer Affairs/Bureau of Automotive Repair for review and assistance. Please confirm in writing that the above items will be addressed, that the repair remains under warranty, and that a comparable rental vehicle will be provided until repairs are completed. Sincerely, Amanda Meeks-Turner More
We worked with Ernesto and Sandy and could not have asked for a better Team, NO high pressure sale, they knew the car details inside and out, then answered all our questions pros and cons about the Sorento w for a better Team, NO high pressure sale, they knew the car details inside and out, then answered all our questions pros and cons about the Sorento we chose to lease. Sandy never rushed, she made sure before we drove out that WE were familiar with the car and could take good care of it. Thank you guys - see you soon for Service! More

Throughout that time, the staff was rude and lied to us multiple times. To make matters worse, they initially did not offer a rental vehicle, leaving us stranded without a second car, which my wife relies on to take our kids to school. When they finally did offer a rental, they refused to cover the full cost, forcing us to pay out of pocket. I reached out to one of the service managers on LinkedIn for help and received no response. Attempts to speak with a service manager over the phone were just as frustrating; I was put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time while listening to terrible elevator music before being disconnected. Calling Kia corporate was the only way we received any real help, as they stepped in to cover the rental cost. However, they also informed me that each dealership operates as an independent franchise, making it clear that Citrus Motors is an outlier in terms of poor service. This place is a disaster and should be shut down. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. More
Horrible dealer with incompetent sale people. When I arrived, I test drove the car and waited almost 3 hours for them to give me numbers officially (this dealer also takes forever). The financial guy then gave me my monthly payment and wanted me to sign without knowing all the details. When I asked for details and asked to know what my trade in value be, he told me he didn't know I was trading in a lease and they don't take leases. The salesman wasted 4 hours of my time and I had to travel 45 min in traffic for nothing. They now ran my credit also for nothing. Horrible service and communication. I will never go back. More
