I was very pleased with the scheduling office that got me an appointment for a very busy day. When I got to the service department very pleasantly greeted by a lady checking my time in and then after a very an appointment for a very busy day. When I got to the service department very pleasantly greeted by a lady checking my time in and then after a very short wait I was assigned service writer named Franco PAPAGNO it was very pleasant and worked me through what I was there to have repaired or worked on explained everything to me took pictures of the car to make sure it was in good shape, but no scratches or bumps And then he took over from there and the car went off to the service person to do the work. I waited for a while, and Franco stopped by several times to tell me the status of the work being done how much more time they would be he was very helpful explaining what was going on and then the car was successfully repaired for the items that I took it in for. My one concern was with the parts department. Franco took me to the parts department because I had a concern about the black button contained in the driver‘s door handle to unlock the car the button dropped off somewhere and I want a replacement, so Franco took me to the parts department and the service man and the parts department told me that Kia no longer stocked that little black button and the only way I could get one was to purchase a complete door handle and have it installed and that would run anywhere between five and $700. I was very disappointed because he also told me that in the past Kia stock such parts but they no longer did so my only bad comment about the work performed was the fact that I just couldn’t believe that Kia would not have a two or three dollar part available to make a car work I would think that would be something that a dealer should be complaining to the key company to have a minor part like that available to people when the part drops off the car other than that comment everything else about the service is performed by City Kia or outstanding, but that’s the reason I left one star off because of the part unavailability I was very happy with Franco PAPAGNO he was very helpful and knowledgeable. You’re lucky to have such qualified service writers. More
