This rating of 3 stars does in no way reflect my experience with this service center over the past 3-4 years. Prior to this year (2025) I have very little to complain about. Now this year is a diffe experience with this service center over the past 3-4 years. Prior to this year (2025) I have very little to complain about. Now this year is a different story. My 2021 KIA Soul suddenly would not start. I had it towed to City KIA of Orlando where I purchased it hoping the dealership would have all in depth diagnostics tools and technicians that would quickly resolve the problem. I was disappointed after 4 weeks they could not find the source of the problem. I was caught in a situation that appeared to be open ended with no resolution to be found. After replacing the starter to no avail, they found a rodent in my glove box. They suspected there could be rodent damage in the wiring system. They told me at minimum it would cost $2000 for 10 hours of work to remove the dashboard so they could inspect the wiring and check for rodent damage. I was getting frustrated with their lack of progress after 3 weeks with no answers. But labor hours were mounting that would not be covered by warranty. In the end I found myself having to make a choice between letting them forge ahead while waiting for a part they suspected had died and talking to their sales department about agreeing on trading in this vehicle for the purchase of a new one. In the process of buying a 2025 Sportage I was afforded the opportunity to remove personal items from the Soul. I could not believe my eyes when I looked inside the vehicle. All the interior front panels were removed, wiring was totally exposed, dashboard removed, screws and fasteners strewn through the interior. To put it mildly, the car looked like a tornado had gotten in there. The extent to which the technician had taken it apart, I couldn’t imagine it ever being put back together with everything put back in its place and not having loose parts that would invariably rattle. I’m glad City KIA agreed to take this car off my hands and forgive the $4000 charge that had accumulated with no assurance of finding the source of the failure. Aside from this bad experience, I have no further complaints. More
