This was my second visit to City Limits Subaru for the service of my Subaru. As always the service department was knowledgeable and care that work was completed to your satisfaction. All I can say is that City Limits Subaru is an outstanding place to purchase a vehicle or have service completed. More

Took my vehicle in for Safety Recall, oil/filter change and for possible extended warranty by vehicle manufacturer. Recall repair could not be done as the inhibitor replacement switch was not avail change and for possible extended warranty by vehicle manufacturer. Recall repair could not be done as the inhibitor replacement switch was not available and they had no estimate on when it might be available. Oil/filter were changed but the service report that is normally provided was not given to my son when he picked up the car. On my extended warranty issue I was informed that my car was out of warranty even if it had been serviced 6 times for the same issue [That would be an item for the vehicle manufacturer would have to handle] and I was given a Corporate number to call. There was no attempt to sooth a customer that had come to them from the original dealer I bought the car from. The facility is a brand new ultra modern sales & Service facility but the service did not measure up to the building. The part came in about a week later and has been installed but the copy of service from the previous visit was made without color making it almost impossible to determine what items were checked, which were serviced and which should be attended to in the future. Went in bc they offered a discount on oil changes but was not impressed. Certainly not the level of service and attention to detail that I am accustomed to. There was no information given on my tire tread de not impressed. Certainly not the level of service and attention to detail that I am accustomed to. There was no information given on my tire tread depth, no multi point inspection, no topping off of fluids. They did wash the car but I also purchased new wiper blades and when I picked up my car after they said they were done I noticed the same old wiper blades were on. I then had to wait another 10-15 mins for a tech to put these on and had to pay $25 for the blades to be put on. All this while my service advisor was talking and texting on his phone when he could have been expediting the process and wasn’t. Also asked them to put a valve cover on one of my tires which was missing one and they forgot to do this too. And if you live in Travis county and need an inspection don’t go here bc they are in Hays county. Very poor attention to detail. Won’t be going back. More
