Lack of communication from Michael, my service writer. Made appointment to have a brake issue on my truck diagnosed and dropped it off Monday morning. I called Michael on Tuesday to check my truck's statu Made appointment to have a brake issue on my truck diagnosed and dropped it off Monday morning. I called Michael on Tuesday to check my truck's status and was told it would take 4-5 days to have it diagnosed. I understood and, requested he call me back with it's status later in the week. I received no call after the truck was there the stated 4-5 days. I called Michael the following Monda morning and left a voicemail asking him to call me back with the status. I received no return phone call. Later in the day, after 2pm, I called the service department again and spoke with a woman who told me she couldn't give a status on my truck and that I'd have to speak to Michael. Having not received a call back from him after I had left a message earlier in the morning, I lost faith in Michael's ability to keep me updated on the status of my truck. I told the woman I'd pick my truck up later in the evening and ended the phone call. Less the 5 mins. later, Michael called me back to confirm I'd be picking the truck up without being diagnosed. Surprisingly, he tells me my truck is up next, and it'd be diagnosed later in the day or the next morning. Had Michael called me back earlier on his own, I would have accepted this and had the truck diagnosed and the problem repaired. Since I no longer had faith in Michael's word, I opted to pick the truck up and did so. I should be noted; this is the second truck I've bought from Classic Chevrolet. The current one being serviced there with a new transmission. All dealings were pleasant and completed satisfactorily. I am disappointed in this in this most recent interaction and have a different opinion with at least Classic Chevrolet's service department. More
It took 9 days for the service department to even diagnose the problem and then 2 days to make a 15 minute repair. On top of that they charged over $540 for the work.
