I am generally happy with the work that is done to my jeep regularly. However, this particular visit took 6hrs to do a job I was told would be 1 1/2hrs. My husband was there at 7am and sat in the service jeep regularly. However, this particular visit took 6hrs to do a job I was told would be 1 1/2hrs. My husband was there at 7am and sat in the service waiting room until 1pm. With no offer for a ride or loaner vehicle. That is unacceptable. I'm sure if he was told it would take that long he would have rescheduled. More
My truck was repaired and is running fine. I received good service. However, I will note that it did take two weeks to even diagnose my vehicle which really isn't acceptable. I do know that there is a shortage of mechanics so I am not considering this in my rating. Mary Franco was very pleasant to deal with and did what she could to move the process along as quickly as possible. I was disappointed in the service. I brought my car in on Friday for an oil change and tire rotation at this time my battery was tested and verified to be GOOD. Friday evening, I trie I brought my car in on Friday for an oil change and tire rotation at this time my battery was tested and verified to be GOOD. Friday evening, I tried to start my car and it would not start and there was discharge under the car where the battery is located. I had to jump start the car. The following morning, I had to jump start the car again. I returned to Don Davis and was told my battery needed to be replaced. Wow! how did that happen overnight? I was disappointed in the service advisor because he failed to explain to my satisfaction what happened to the battery overnight and what the discharge was from the battery on my garage floor. I felt I had to make a decision right away without the option to amply shop around. I have never been so disappointed with service at Don Davis! More
