2009 Dodge Ram I was told by the service manager that the motor was locked down and the repair would be $11,000. Yet when I had the vehicle towed to my niece's hou I was told by the service manager that the motor was locked down and the repair would be $11,000. Yet when I had the vehicle towed to my niece's house her husband started it and told me that it wasn't locked down, that it had thrown a rod. And he has been a mechanic for a long time. High risk to purchase at Don Davis Auto Group Purchased a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler as a surprise for my daughter. Immediately (<48hrs) found the auto lock on drivers door didn't work, would cost $4 Purchased a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler as a surprise for my daughter. Immediately (<48hrs) found the auto lock on drivers door didn't work, would cost $450 to fix. Returned and demonstrated the issue to sales rep and repair tech. Sales manager, Abraham Escareno, stated they don't inspect most of their used cars except for safety issues (just like the Division Street wholesalers). Don Davis Auto Group does NOT stand behind their vehicles - so find a REPUTABLE DEALER especially for a pre-owned vehicle! More
