My passenger side fog light has been out for about two months. I thought it was the bulb but after replacing, found that it wasn’t. I paid $139 just to have the dealership LOOK at my car. I then get a call telling me that something about the wire not being grounded and that it will cost me $449 for them to take off the front of my car and find the issue. However, no parts would be needed so they told me that was the good news. I would rather drive around without a fog light than pay $588 to get it fixed. Plus, I know from experience that most of that money does NOT go to the mechanic that is actually servicing my vehicle. I bought my car at Don Davis, but I don’t think I will return again. More
I have a vehicle through Donlen Svc. Plan. Vehicle taken originally to address multiple lights on dash that required service. Picked up a few days later and an invoice for around $500 for wire repair. The l originally to address multiple lights on dash that required service. Picked up a few days later and an invoice for around $500 for wire repair. The lights are still on vehicle. Was told that a module would need to be replaced. Brought the vehicle back and days later I picked the vehicle up and once again the lights require service still exist. On both situations I was told the vehicle was ready. I am concerned on the level of quality check. There are bolts sitting on my cup holder. The vehicle was not ready given the lights still showed on the dash. No follow up call or empathy to the service provided. More
