My experience with an appointment for an oil change was bad Took me 25 minutes to get to the dealership for an oil change. Had a appointment at 1:00pm. Was told I would have to wait 2 to 3 hours before they could get to it. The person who worked with me said the reservation people do this all the time and I should come in at 7 or 7:30 am. I asked who I could complain to and he told me Eric was on the way. He took a long time to come to me and I considered he may just.be taking a long time to hope I would just drive off. Eric later told me he was the only manager on duty and he was busy with other issues. He asked me if he could get me out in a hour and a half. Told me it took that long to complete an oil change. I waited and the oil change was complete at 2:15. My experience will prevent me from being a Don Davis customer when I buy my wife a new Ford. So the time went from a 2 to 3 hour wait to get to the job started to getting me out in one hour and 15 minutes. More
Was not happy through I took 3 weeks, multiple phone calls (with no return calls) & finally got an appointment by contacting the General Manager! Testing for something I already knew was wrong I went into Don Davis Ford to get my Ford Fusion Hybrid 12v battery replaced. They spent 2 hours testing it to tell me it needed to be replaced. This I went into Don Davis Ford to get my Ford Fusion Hybrid 12v battery replaced. They spent 2 hours testing it to tell me it needed to be replaced. This is something I already knew and told them upon arrival. I was continually updated on the status, which I appreciate. However, I was there with my one year old son waiting. I would hope that they would have just gone ahead with the problem I knew was the issue, which was the battery. The car needed to be jump started three times in the four days before bringing it in and I never had this issue before. The car had been parked in the driveway at my house for that week only being moved once a day. I knew the problem, they didn't listen, and so I spent a solid 2.5 hours waiting for them to tell me what I already knew. I had to have my husband come and pick my son and I up since we were still waiting. I probably will not return to Don Davis Ford for service. One, because my Fusion is just about to be sold, and two, because of this experience. More
