I call the one of the service managers there "Mom" because she was getting on to me for not wearing a coat. My sales guy checks in with me to see how things are going. The mechanics are friendly. Just a great group of people who at Don Davis who have taken care of my family for almost 40 years!! More

But I needed more of a check up because I was about to embark on a trip that would take me to the West Coast and back returning, towing another vehicle. I wanted to head off any problems that could occur. Don Davis located and repaired the “Red Flags;” just what I wanted. I was given all the recommendations and there was no pressure about which ones to undertake. I’m glad I took my 2009 Ford F-150 in for the checkup. The truck runs like new and I feel confident that the truck will do its job to travel to repair West Coast and back. More

She greeted me upon arrival for my service appointment, noted that I wanted to wait if service would take less than 1 1/2 hours, and she had me out in less time. She explained to me why their was a service charge, even though my vehicle was under warranty. I appreciated her professionalism and honesty in explaining the situation, and while I was disappointed in having to pay for the service, my issue is with the service policy and not with Jessica, who I respect very much. My issue with the policy is this: Brought vehicle in for diagnostic testing for navigation system problem. Ultimately the APIM module had to be replaced (ticket # 4994945). After this was done, navigation system worked fine, but remote start had stopped working. Brought truck back in and the remote start was found to be turned off. As I did not know there was an option for that, I did not realize that it had to be reset after the APIM diagnostic testing and replacement. I would have thought that the systems would be reset after any service that disconnected features, but this was not done by the technician and thus I was charged for this oversight. I feel that I should not have been charged $83.88 for simply turning on a feature that was turned off during servicing and not turned back on after servicing. Had I known that there was a selection to re activate this feature, I would have done it myself . More

I have been to the Don Davis Auto Group twice. Once for a used Ram 1500, and now for a new Ford Ranger. Both times, the salespeople went above and beyond to get the deal done. Easy to work with The sales team was easy to talk with and did not push the transaction. They even understood when I wanted to leave to think about the offered deal.
