This dealership has been great the past two times that I have purchased a vehicle here. The first time was back in 03 and I was extremely satisfied with everything. About 10 years later, they still have the same great service. I was attended by sales associate Willie who I met once before actually deciding on the vehicle that I wanted. He helped give me and idea of what I could get with my budget and preferences. When I came back to purchase my vehicle, he helped me pick out my truck without hesitation in a very friendly manner. I really liked the way he treated me. He was able to show me the truck i wanted and even clear up some questions and concerns that I had about it. When looking at the actual numbers, he worked hard to get me the best deal that he could. He gave me many different options until we finally reached one that worked for everyone. The rest of the paper work was done in a quick and orderly fashion and I was able to get out of the dealer fairly quick with my nice detailed truck. Overall they did a great job just like the last time which is why I came back to do business with them once again. More
I've always hated car shopping, but Andrew Rutherford, Mark Plummer and Don Davis Ford have changed that. All the things I don't like about car shopping they've gotten rid of. They help you make the right choice, not just sell you any car. They don't pressure you to buy right now, tomorrow is OK. No, they don't want you to leave without a buying a car any more than the next dealer, but if you're not buying today, they'll still take care of you. That's why I just bought my third vehicle from Don Davis. Andrew is friendly and easy to talk to. He knows the cars inside and out. He knows the packages, the options available, what everything does and how it works. He takes the time to explain it to you. He'll even gently let you know if he thinks you're asking for something you don't need. He puts you in control. We really made him work for the deal. We had narrowed down our selection to a Ford and a Dodge. I called and set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon and we looked at the Ford, compared the various option packages and then test drove one. We had to leave because my wife had somewhere to be that night, but I arranged to meet Andrew at Don Davis Dodge, part of the same auto group. Andrew showed me the other car we were considering. He knew the Dodge as well as he did the Ford. It was very valuable for him to be able to say "the Ford is better in this instance, but the Dodge is better in that". After I test drove it, we talked to the Dodge manager and he let us drive it over to the Don Davis Ford dealership where I got to compare them side-by-side and drive one right after the other. Wow! Where else can you do that? Not only that, when I asked to look at the sedan version, he pulled another Ford up there and I got to compare all three. All that and he knew I wasn't buying that night. Unbelievable! They're doing it right! Two nights later when MY schedule allowed it, we came back and after a short test drive to confirm our decision, we bought the Ford. Andrew smiled and laughed with us all the way through the process. The deal was right. We had done our research and knew what the fair price and what we wanted to pay. Andrew had done his research, too. He had all the incentives and bonuses available for us. Our lists agreed and their first offer was right where we thought it should be. By the time we got into the finance office it was after closing time, but not once did we feel rushed. In financing, Dustin patiently explained everything to us and answered our questions in detail. They set up the financing package through our credit union and still got us a better rate than the credit union had offered us. When Andrew brought the car up, he took his time to explain all the electronic features in even more detail than before, made sure we understood how to work everything and sent us on our way. He called the next day to see if we had any questions, and I expect I'll hear from him a couple of more times to make sure I'm completely satisfied. I've found one very minor problem with the dealer prep on the car. It's easily fixed and hardly worth mentioning, but I know they will want to take care of it as soon as I tell them about it. I will happily tell others to shop at Don Davis and to ask for Andrew. More
We took our Ford Explorer into the dealership for service on Monday and while we were waiting we decided to take a look at what was on the lot for sale. A well-dressed friendly man approached us, he introduc on Monday and while we were waiting we decided to take a look at what was on the lot for sale. A well-dressed friendly man approached us, he introduced himself as Willie Woodard. He was kind and asked us great questions to understand what we were looking for in our ideal vehicle. He was not pushy nor did he seem annoyed as if we were wasting his time; as he understood that our SUV was in service and we were not seriously looking to purchase anything. He was still excited to show us two different SUV's. Willie was EXTREMELY professional and genuinely wanted to get us into an SUV that would suit our needs and wants. Willie and his Manager named Justin worked to get us an amazing deal that we could not walk away from on a Ford Expedition. Willie even stayed late until all the paperwork was done and waved goodbye as we drove off, two of the happiest customers to ever leave that lot. Thank you Don Davis for hiring Willie, we would not have purchased a vehicle from anyone else. More
