I went in for a 2013 Ford F-150 XL that they advertised for $20,977. I called before I came in and they said they had it. When I got there they said they didn't have it but they had something similar and t for $20,977. I called before I came in and they said they had it. When I got there they said they didn't have it but they had something similar and they would charge me $300 more. Now I understand the bait and switch is common practice but it doesn't make me like it any more. As I was walking away from the salesman, Jason comes out and says "Well I thought you were talking about the single cab truck, we do still have the extended cab" We walked over to the line of trucks and they realized oh, maybe we don't have it. He then went to see if he could find one in the system. He came back with keys for a similar truck and said they would only charge me $200 more. The truck he got the keys for was actually less truck than what was advertised. The truck advertised had chrome bumpers and sync, and this truck had neither. Not sure how less truck means I have to pay more, but that's what he was trying to do. I don't like being lied to or jerked around and these guys did both. I also called back about 30 minutes later and Rachel said they still had the truck and that I should set up an appointment to see it. When I told her that I was there earlier and it was not there, she said oh well they must have sold it. Either they have really bad inventory control or they just enjoy a good bait and switch. More
