While I was in the dealership for service, it was when sales person Terry McGriff approached me about a new car. The service ppl have always been the best Samuel and a few others. This Sales person Terry sales person Terry McGriff approached me about a new car. The service ppl have always been the best Samuel and a few others. This Sales person Terry McGriff played me like a fiddle. I realized just how much after the fact. This person was a xxxxxxx, unloading a car on me I could not afford and one we had not even discussed the cost or the amenties on it. Only to get home and realize it didn't even have automatic trunk release which I needed as I am mobility impaired and I need this feature to store my walker. Now this was days later as Terry McGriff drove it to my home. This person played on my weakness and lack of knowledge. He knew how to keep the pressure up disguised as being helpful. Telling me all the great service package was and just let my current one go back since it had high mileage etc., I had been there all day I was worn out physically. Then after the dust clears, I'm home I realize I had been bamboozled. This happened in October 2024. I took me this long to write because I couldn't believe I had allowed myself to be taken advantage of like that. This is the short version of the story. Some are probably thinking well it's my fault, yes to a degree. No one should take advantage of another person because they can. I guess that's the kind of world we live in. I would not advise anyone to go to a dealership alone, Some of these guys are ruthless. More
Us the people need to find a better way to buying cars from all these dealerships that aren't geared towards customer satisfaction. Yet again got ripped off by the next dealership just waiting to make th from all these dealerships that aren't geared towards customer satisfaction. Yet again got ripped off by the next dealership just waiting to make the almighty buck. I have been through 4 managers and none of them are willing to make this situation right for all parties involved. None of the employees wanted to jump in to help More
I keep getting passed from one manager to another, but no real solution to the problem. Clay Cooley purposely waited until the 7-day grace period was over before even trying to talk to me to deal with situ real solution to the problem. Clay Cooley purposely waited until the 7-day grace period was over before even trying to talk to me to deal with situation at hand. NEVER DID. Still 2 months into it, and I am still waiting on Ron King, Aaron (Sales manager) and the president to make this deal with this situation, and just make it RIGHT!! I don't Ron King back on the 5th day of my purchase that if they couldn't refund me the warranty crap then they could take the car back altogether. STILL NOTHING, they waited until after those 7 days to even deal with me and couldn't make the situation right. Now I have a car that all the paint is flying off the front bumper like its dust sitting there, I am to the point that I will call all NEWS STATION to see if one of them want to pick up this story!! SCAM from Start to FINISH. Bait and switch right off the bat. Was there to see a 2023 silver convertible Camaro, but when I got there, it was a bright RED Camaro, which I don Bait and switch right off the bat. Was there to see a 2023 silver convertible Camaro, but when I got there, it was a bright RED Camaro, which I don't do red vehicles. So instead of me and my husband walking out like I tried to do 3 times that night, they said we have other cars that we can sell you, I said Well I am wanting a sports car. They only have 2 Dodge Challengers and 1 Ford convertible Mustang. I don't do Fords, so I decided to look at the Challenger, the dealership parking lot was extremely dark that night, so I didn't get the best look inside and out of the car I test drove. And they never thought to advise me that the challenger was almost 10K more than the car I was looking at. So now here I sit with a car that I just want to give back since there are issues that I am still trying to get the GM Troy to answer our calls but still dodging me and my husband. I am already needing an oil change so I need to know if one of my protection plans will cover that part. The dealership/GM did us dirty in this deal and wanted to bail out the first 7 days which they made sure it was past their 7-day mark to do any kind of exchange to make the deal right. Due to the alignment being bad when I purchased the car, I got the shop to fix the alignment but did nothing to correct the tire issue I was complaining about the day we bought the car. The dealership also FAILED to advise me that this car had been in an accident of some kind because the hood of the car doesn't shut properly. And I can't even wash the car because the paint is starting the chip off the hood of the car. The tires are still an issue with the performance of the vehicle. With all the warranty and extra items tacked on at the end for things like Premier Protection-Ally Auto Care-Ally Everyday Protection for Appearance Protection and last but not least-Tire & Wheel + Cosmetic/Chrome protection. What does all this cover?? My lender is pushing it off on the dealership. So, let's see how long I have to wait now!! More
I would never buy anything from Clay Cooley of Dallas. I was excited to see, and test drive a 2023 Chevy Camaro they had on their website in a pretty gray convertible. I had talked to the salesman John I was excited to see, and test drive a 2023 Chevy Camaro they had on their website in a pretty gray convertible. I had talked to the salesman John N for days before going up there, because I knew they weren't going to be able to give me the deal I needed to get out of truck that I was upside down in and have lower monthly payments. So, when I got there, I saw no gray convertible, all I saw was a RED Camaro that I know I didn't want. I was ready to walk. Another manager I guess came over and said that if we let the truck go back and buy this car it would look good to the creditor. xxxxxxxxx!! They basically suckered my poor husband into buying this Challenger for me as a late Valentines gift and ruin his credit in the process. So, we end of taking a 2022 Dodge Challenger home that night against my better judgement since it was so dark, and the dealership was not well lite at all. By the time I saw the light of day, the car was home with me, and it rode rough, and I knew there were things that needed to be fixed in order for this car to be drivable. Here we are 11 days from the day I went home with vehicle, and they only fixed a few small issues that didn't really cost them that much money, but I keep telling them in more ways than one that this car needs new tires and wheels, now all I hear are the tires going down the road. My husband has put a call into the CEO of Clay Cooley, and even the CEO is hiding and not dealing with the problem. When I went to pick up the car from service I met with the GM Ron King and I told him to his face that even though I am picking the car up that this was far from being over. HOW HARD IS IT TO GIVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE?! More
I wanted to get a used vehicle so I applied online through the website. After a couple of minutes, I did not get a call. So I called the number on the website and spoke with Elexus. She said that the through the website. After a couple of minutes, I did not get a call. So I called the number on the website and spoke with Elexus. She said that the call was monitored so she will call me back on her personal phone to get my information since they do not use the credit application online company anymore. After providing my information, she said she will call me back. After 15 minutes, she asked if I had any credit and needed a co-signer. I told her that I have purchased cars in the past and my credit report is not new. FYI, a few minutes later my TransUnion was pulled via notification from credit karma. She said that she was going to check back with her manager and call me back. I have not received a call back yet. This was a very poor customer service experience. More
