I love my new Hyundai Palisade from Clay Cooley Hyundai. I was notified on my Hyundai app that I needed to take it in for its first service. While my car was in for service, I said I'd like to discuss turning in the lease early and looking at a new lease/purchase. Alfonso took my info and ran my credit (without asking or telling me) within 3 minutes of meeting me. We hadn't even really talked about what cars I might want to look at, much less buy. Stanley in service 'recommended' Alfonso as someone reliable and straight forward, so I can only assume that running credit without authorization and trying to close business without a product even in mind is standard practice for them here. Terry the sales manager did at least get service moving on my car so I could leave, but up to now nobody at Clay Cooley has acknowledged my credit being run without authorization, much less apologized. I'll be reporting to Credit beaureaus and Hyundai finance. More
