Terrible Experience Very frustrated with the quality of this dealership. Sold my daughter a used Nissan with a 2 month warranty. Less than 2 weeks later she returned as t Very frustrated with the quality of this dealership. Sold my daughter a used Nissan with a 2 month warranty. Less than 2 weeks later she returned as the car was shaking terribly on braking. Rotors were very bad. Would not honor the warranty as "brake rotors are not a safety issue". Are you kidding me!!! Anyway they charged her 300+ dollars for the new brakes when they new they were bad when they sold her the car. A tough lesson for my daughter (age 23) in dealing with slippery car people. Just want to make sure others are forewarned and advised to take their business to more reputable dealerships. These folks are thieves More

You'll be treated with fairness I dreaded the thought of buying a new car. The idea of walking into a room full of salesmen and "playing hardball" was one of the last things I wanted I dreaded the thought of buying a new car. The idea of walking into a room full of salesmen and "playing hardball" was one of the last things I wanted to do. But I did my research, grabbed my bf for moral support, and headed to Coastal VW. I can't stress enough how unexpectedly pleasant the whole experience was. Matt was friendly, genuinely interested in what I would be using the car for, and had Jeopardy-like knowledge about every VW model. When I test drove the car that I subsequently purchased, I noticed a minor shimmy, which concerned me tremendously. Matt assured me that if that was the car I wanted, the shimmy would get taken care of, no question. I test drove the same vehicle in a different color to make sure that the shimmy wasn't just "how the car drove," Matt in tow the whole time. When it came time to negotiate, there was no stress. I knew what a fair price for my trade-in was and I knew what a fair price for the car I was buying was. There was no haggling, just a fair counter offer. I accepted, signed the paperwork, and picked up my car the next day after the shimmy was fixed. I highly recommend Coastal. More

Terrence and Sean gave me a great price for both the new car and my trade quite early on in the purchase cycle, so I didn't have to go through the dreaded back-and-forth process.
