Great experience at Coastal VW!!! Just leased a 2014 GTI Wolfsburg DSG in Candy White from Coastal VW on 6/30/14. They were able to give me $1500 over KBB value for my trade as well Just leased a 2014 GTI Wolfsburg DSG in Candy White from Coastal VW on 6/30/14. They were able to give me $1500 over KBB value for my trade as well as around $4000 off MSRP on the GTI. The fact that the 2015 MK7 GTI's being on the lot helped but Coastal still beat every other VW dealer I negotiated with by a minimum of about $1,000. In the end, I was able to lease the car at the exact number I was shooting for. Sean (Sales Manager) is a no BS guy who will work with you (within reason of course). The Finance Manager (forgot the name) did not push hard to sell me all kinds of dealer add-on's/protection plans which I didn't feel I'd need. Overall I think I've spent only 2 hours for the entire transaction which rarely happened in my past (7) car buying/leasing experiences. More

After a month, the rotors were not satisfactory. We spoke to Sean and after reviewing the service and the vehicle, they replaced the rotors on the front wheels. Sean did the right thing and my son and I were pleased with the result. its nice to deal with someone and a dealership in particular that does the right thing. we will keep coming back. More

False Advertising & Deceptive Mailed Invitations to Trade-in Coastal VW of Hanover, MA sent me a mailing stating a trade-in value for my 2001 Passat station wagon. They had serviced my car in the past and were Coastal VW of Hanover, MA sent me a mailing stating a trade-in value for my 2001 Passat station wagon. They had serviced my car in the past and were familiar with the condition and value of the car. When I went into the store, it turned out that the mailer was false and not specific to my car as implied. The trade-in value that the VW flyer gave for my car was $2660. In the dealership they wouldn't pinpoint a trade-in price. They just did fancy math to quote a price for a Jetta. I pressured them to disclose the trade-in value they used in their calculations. Finally the manager came up with a trade-in value of $1000. Persistent predatory marketing material sent via USPS is their M.O. I specifically told the manager Sean to remove me from his mailing list. He has not respected my request. I still get Coastal VW junk mail ie false advertising. What really puts this dealership at the bottom of the barrel is that they turned nasty and condescending to me when I could not make a deal. I was counting on the higher trade-in value stated in the mailer to stick within a budget. They were friendly and respectfully until they realized that I could not make a deal with them. Yet it was Coastal VW who sent me false advertising to get me to come into their dealership- I wouldn't have gone there to be humiliated by Sean and Ben if they hadn't sent me their predatory marketing mail. More

Easy Experience We just bought a new Jetta from Terrence at Coastal VW. We were torn between the hybrid and the tdi and Terrence took the time to explain the pros and We just bought a new Jetta from Terrence at Coastal VW.
