We were very impressed with the personalized service provided by all the employees we encountered at Coggin Honda. We were greeted warmly by Ernesto. Ernesto was our sales associate. He took into consideration our preferences, desires and price range. We had planned on buying a used vehicle based on affordability. Ernesto asked us if we would consider speaking with the new car manager b/c a new vehicle was only several thousand more than we had originally planned to spend for a used vehicle. Ron Smith (mgr)reviewed our options - used, the new vehicle we test drove and several less expensive versions of this vehicle, customize to our basic needs in mind, as well as the financials of each. I was fairly disappointed with the watered down versions of the van we test drove. I asked Ron to put on paper the best deal he could for the vehicle I wanted, with several different payment options. We felt Ron really worked with us to get the most vehicle for our money, with a payment option we could afford. I was very very happy with the Honda Oddessy we purchased. Dave assisted with financing and title reassignment of my vehicle. Dave was very thorough and explained all the paperwork. We could not complete the title reassignment because of the late hour. When I returned the following day to complete the paperwork Dave informed me that he was able to get me a lower percentage rate on the loan. He had already the paperwork generated in the event I was interested, and of course I was. I also returned the following day to have the van detailed. There were a few minor interior/exterior scratches noted on final inspection. Ernesto and Ron came out and inspected the van with me. They wanted me to be 100% satisfied and requested we return with the car on Wednesday to have the additional work done and they would provide me with a car until my van was ready. We agreed. When we dropped off the van, they provided me with a new Honda Accord. I was very surprised they provided me with a new car and not the typical dealership loaner. I returned on Friday to pick up the van. Everything looked perfect as promised. Ernesto was waiting for me. He wanted to be sure I was comfortable with all the wonderful features in my vehicle and took the time to review the DVD, wireless headsets, front to rear speaker controls, XM radio, and AC controls. He never lost his patience was very good natured. The customer service we experienced at Coggin Honda was superior to any car dealership l have EVER been to. Their personalities & kindness appeared genuine. On a personal level I think I am a pretty good judge of character and I believe these guys are quality individuals with good hearts. After searching the internet for pre-owned vehicles, we found a Honda Civic of interest at Coggin of Jacksonville. Last Friday evening, we drove to the dealership with our Cocker Spaniel, only with the int found a Honda Civic of interest at Coggin of Jacksonville. Last Friday evening, we drove to the dealership with our Cocker Spaniel, only with the intention of viewing the automobile. We were greeted by Norman Daniels who immediately began to brag on our dog PRIOR to showing us the vehicle. Little did he know, he spoke to our hearts immediately! Norman invited our four legged family member into the dealership, for the entire transaction. By the way, we loved the car and purchased it that evening. In the past, dealing with a car salesman has been my least favorite thing to do. Norman is definitely not the norm. He treated us as friends and took care of our every need in a very professional manner. Needless to say, our experience was awesome and we would definitely contact Norman Daniels with any of our automobile needs. We also had a great experience the next morning with Jamie Pantling, F& I Manager. We took our New 2011 Pilot in to have the Lo-Jack installed and a few other questions answered on the Home Link and Auto Locking Doors. She was so polite, Knowledgeable and such a pleasure to deal with. Chuck Gallagher took care of all our other issues and made my wife and I feel like we were the only customers there. After purchasing my vehicle I had a few questions about the Financing, Tags and warranties. Jamie in Financing saw me right away and answered all of my questions. When Jamie presented us the optional financing packages and other available option I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of the vehicles and packages. He knew what we needed and was very helpful in helping us make our decisions. The whole Coggin Family is awesome. I have never been treated this well when purchasing any type of item.
