An oil change, tire rotation, and air filter changes should take no longer than an hour, and even that is long. I am sure it is not taking the mechanic this long, it is that appointments are scheduled but not gotten to for awhile. It took 20 minutes of waiting just to speak with Mr. Johnson, so my 2 O'clock appointment is now already almost 2:30. I was not out of there until after 4. too long for what I was there for. Otherwise everyone was great. The service was performed to my satisfaction as far as I can see thus far. Cynthia, the cashier was pleasant and had that portion of my visit handled quickly. I have always had great experiences at Community other than wait time. Maybe send a message to customers to come later if things are running behind. Improve checkin process. Always takes a long time. Flat tire replacement Today when heading out to my vehicle in my typical commute to work I noticed one of my tires was completely flat. After checking the tire for leaks I Today when heading out to my vehicle in my typical commute to work I noticed one of my tires was completely flat. After checking the tire for leaks I noticed a hole in the tire and the tire couldn’t not be driven on. Installed the spare tire and drove to the dealership. The staff was extremely helpful in locating the replacement tire and get me back on the road without any setbacks. Bob, Greg and Randy in the service department are always very professional and provide excellent customer service. I also can say the same about the parts department when dealing with Chris Nelson, Wilky Busch, and Kevin Casper. Each of these individuals always provides superior customer service and are extremely knowledgeable. Cudios to Community Honda service and parts departments for handling this in a time efficient matter and getting me back on the road quickly to avoid taking a day off of work! More

Disappointed After bringing van in for routine service and spending $560, the first time I go to start the van at home about an hour later, battery is dead. We wer After bringing van in for routine service and spending $560, the first time I go to start the van at home about an hour later, battery is dead. We were leaving for the day/night for a soccer game in elmhurst then band competition in Mt. Prospect. Ended up having one of us stay back with the van and take another car which then resulted in driving two cars for the night once we paid more $ to have apparent bad battery replaced. Apparently they didn’t check battery like they are supposed to so I wonder what else didn’t get checked. Also had no problems prior to the service so timing of battery problem is questionable to me. More
