I had emissions work done on my car at your dealership and was told to drive a hundred miles and come back to get my state inspection done. I did so, and on the day that I came back to get my inspection d and was told to drive a hundred miles and come back to get my state inspection done. I did so, and on the day that I came back to get my inspection done I was told by Tom that Copeland couldn't do it because it was an out-of-state registration. The young lady with the strawberry blonde hair next to him corrected him in front of me which he did not like. I went to the waiting room and soon after Tom approached me and said they could not do the inspection because my car didn't have a front license plate. North Carolina does not require a front license plate. He turned me away from getting my car inspected stating that the tech told him the machine would not allow him to go any further in the process. I knew that was not true because I had had my car inspected in Massachusetts last year at this time at 1:34 Auto Care in Dennis. So I left Hyannis and went back to Dennis and they inspected my car. Maybe someone should have a talk with Tom and let him know that what he did was horrible customer service .. Just seemed like maybe he needed some training.or at least updated on out of state inspections. Somebody also needs to inform the tech who performs the inspections on how to bypass the question regarding the number of license plates. Why were they able to do it in South Dennis and not Hyannis? Very inconvenient and frustrating. And by the way my car is a Chevrolet Sonic and I was told by your service department to drive it 50 to 100 miles to reset the emissions after you did the work when in actuality I had to drive almost 300 miles for it to reset and that was Highway and back road driving so please update your information when giving it to customers. Thank you More
