In house customer service experience Ladies and gentlemen of Reno Buick GMC Cadillac...WHAT HAPPEND? I came into a really nice building expecting World-Class customer service from World- Ladies and gentlemen of Reno Buick GMC Cadillac...WHAT HAPPEND? I came into a really nice building expecting World-Class customer service from World-Class people. I'm just one person to you, but you let me down, you failed to win, miserably. Inside the service building/garage where 4 desks and at least 5 employees standing, approx 20 seconds went by (5 sec is already downhill) before I, as the customer, did the greeting/questions with another employee who later walked in. She pointed to Steven Doss a few feet away and said he would help me. I drove the car in, turned my keys over and was told where to sit. What happend to walking the customer over to the lounge before you go sit and continue your chit-chat? I made my 4pm appt for recall service with an Incredibly Professional gal the same day I brought my car in. She explicitly asked me if I would wait in building, I said yes, and then she asked for my phone number so that I could also be texted when service was done. I waited patiently from 4:00pm to 6:20pm. I did not receive a phone call, nor a text message to the number I provided, nor was I called over the intercom which I know works. Annoyed, I asked around and a kind lady, who worked for the dealership owners, not in your building, pointed out another gentleman who made some phone calls to figure out what had happend. It turns out the service personnel were gone, that area closed by 6pm and my car was not around. I was sitting in the lounge and you decide to go home? Really? The gentleman I mentioned, lead me to someone else who was on his way home. This second man found my keys...and my car, which was in your dark gated yard as far away from the building as could be. Guess who had to walk through your yard and drive the car out? You guessed it, me. What is even more impressive to me is the fact that NOT ONE of these people I encountered at the end bothered apologizing even after I kept my demeanor and said thank you. The lady verbalized her pity for me, "poor guy" in a good way, but let me tell you who I pity. I'm not angry but I do pity everyone involved for their lack of understanding, leadership ability and respect for themselves. If you don't have these qualities at your age..., anyway. Perhaps because I wasn't forking out cash for a new vehicle and was "just a vehicle service recall" I wasn't given the importance. Who knows. I missed my family dinner and precious time with my son and wife, but in retrospect you reinforced my knowledge of how not to be and treat people. My advice to you, leverage the experience to learn something you already don't know and starve your weaknesses. More
Trusted help in a time of need I have a 2006 GMC Envoy with 105,000+ miles on it. I was a mechanic for 20+ years. Because of medical problems I chose to take it to the dealer to rep I have a 2006 GMC Envoy with 105,000+ miles on it. I was a mechanic for 20+ years. Because of medical problems I chose to take it to the dealer to repair the check engine light being on. I was greeted by Steve Doss and felt I could trust him. They first took care of some neglected service work hoping that would be enough to solve the check engine light problem. Unfortunately the check engine light was an intermittent problem and they had to drive the vehicle 4 or 5 days to make sure the problem was fixed. I'm sure it was very frustrating for them because I have been there My Envoy has never performed this well. In the meantime they gave me a car with under 1000 miles on it to use as a loaner. They were very professional and helpful in my time of need and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. More
Service Department - Great Customer Service I recently moved to Reno from out of town. I have a 2015 Sierra 2500 that needed an oil change and some minor warranty work. This was my first trip to Reno Buick, GMC, Cadillac. Getting an appointment to fit my schedule was easy. I was greeted promptly and my service advisor, Rodney Helsel< listened carefully to my comments and made sure he understood my issues. He went out of his way to make sure all my issues were taken care of and that I was a fully satisfied customer. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Reno Buick GMC and Rodney Helsel to my friends. More

My LaCrosse was dead in the water, and although some suffer from much more serious issues, mine left me stranded and without a car for two days. Upon having my car towed (Buick roadside assistance is beyond excellent), the Reno service department took my needs seriously and fixed the problem in less than a day. I commend them for being calm and collected despite my many calls to check on my vehicle. The best part, it runs beautifully and I was not put out for days on end. More
Emergency car repair I was traveling through when my car suddenly developed a drop in power. I found this dealership and drove in. They found a way to get my car scheduled I was traveling through when my car suddenly developed a drop in power. I found this dealership and drove in. They found a way to get my car scheduled in to get checked out. As soon as they found the problem a replacement part was next day shipped, I was given a ride to a local hotel and picked up the next day. My car and I were back on the road with as little inconvenience as possible! They even put me to the front of the line and on my way by first thing in the morning. I really appreciated the friendly supportive staff! More

The service we received was outstanding..I honestly believe that God directed us to this dealership for service, as we had been traveling for three days when we encountered an over heating problem. I would highly recommend service at this dealership. More
Unexpected need for service I was on my way to the movies when my 2007 Saturn Vue began chugging and losing power. It startled me because I've never had anything go wrong with my Vue, so instead of turning into the theater, I kept my fingers crossed my car wouldn't die and drove the few miles to Reno Buick GMC Cadillac. Service member, Steve Doss, quickly assured me that it was nothing to worry about; they would figure out what was wrong and get it fixed. They provided me a ride home and within a couple of hours Steve called to tell me the ignition module/system, spark plugs and battery needed to be replaced. Since my car was already in the shop, I also asked them to rotate the tires and change the oil as prep for winter weather. We agreed on a very reasonable price for everything, and early the next afternoon Steve called to tell me my car was ready to pick up. Again, they provided me with a ride, and when we arrived at the dealership my car was repaired, washed and once again runs like new. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received and how I was treated by everyone. Since the Saturn dealership closed for business, I feel I've been fortunate to find a place I can again trust for my car's service needs... and Steve is a rock star in my book! More
Awesome Service! I live in Reno. My vehicle (bought at another local dealer) broker down in central California. My best option was to take it to a California dealer 30 I live in Reno. My vehicle (bought at another local dealer) broker down in central California. My best option was to take it to a California dealer 300 miles away. I didn't want to have to travel back to pickup my vehicle. I looked at towing to Reno and the charge was well over $100. I contacted a friend who worked for Reno Buick GMC. He advised Greg the service manager of the issue. Greg immediately offered to arrange for the transport of my vehicle and me back to Reno for a VERY small charge of $300! Greg and his team were very responsive, going out of their way to help someone who was not even a customer! Thanks Greg! Russ & Lisa Romine More
